was in contention for PRZ WV Offensive Player of the Week with an all-around impressive performance in week one. He impacted the game in a variety of ways as a passer, runner, and on defense. McAllister was efficient throwing the ball completing 17/25 passes for 285 yards and 2 touchdowns. The athletic quarterback also rushed for 74 yards and 2 more scores making it impossible for the Oak Glen defense to contain him. McAllister wasn’t done there as he scooped up a Golden Bear fumble in stride for a 12-yard return and score. He totaled over 400 yards in the game and 5 touchdowns to secure the 40-21 victory for the Red Riders.

has been a frequent visitor at camps this off-season as we’ve had the chance to see how he’s progressed since his sophomore season at nearby Weirton Madonna. McAllister had a one-year hiatus across the river at perennial Ohio power Steubenville but is now back in the Mountain State for his final year. Without much game film from his junior year, McAllister may be a bit of an unknown to some in the state. However, from seeing him in person multiple times at camps this summer, we know firsthand where he’s currently at and is primed for a breakout senior year for the Red Riders. McAllister impressed so much at the West Liberty prospect camp that the home-standing Hilltoppers offered him on the spot without waiting for more recent game film to become available. He’s been one of the top passers at all three camps we’ve seen him at this year and will debut as a Top 10 QB for now with the potential to climb higher with a strong senior season.
Although you may be unfamiliar with him right now, keep your eyes on McAllister this fall where he’s sure to open more.

was just as impressive as Smiley and stood out as one of the Top 2 quarterbacks in attendance. McAllister attended our PRZ WV Combine two weeks ago and he showed us again at Bethany’s Prospect Camp why he made our Best of the Rest group at the Combine. He’s flying under-the-radar right now after a one-year stint at Ohio power Steubenville but will be making his way back to the Mountain State at Weir High for his senior season. McAllister was another consistent passer throughout today’s camp and threw with zip and accuracy. He showed off his athletic ability during testing with a sub-5-second 40 time, 4.6 pro shuttle, and a very good broad jump of 3+ yards. McAllister was primarily a pocket passer at Madonna but saw reps at DB at Steubenville so the athletic versatility is there to be a dual-threat quarterback if needed.
He’s going to be a fun and intriguing prospect to watch this season after playing sparingly in 2023 and could quickly make his name known and out from under the radar with a strong senior year.

! The 2025 Weir quarterback recently made the move back to the Mountain State from Ohio state power Steubenville and was very productive during his time at Weirton Madonna as an underclassman before heading to Ohio. McAllister looks the part in person from a physical standpoint and was one of the better body types at the event for the quarterback group with an athletic build. He’s another quarterback who may not have been chosen as a Top 5 Performer but certainly has the talent to have been in the mix.
We’re looking forward to seeing what he can do for the Red Riders his senior season who will be looking for him to step in and take the reins as their QB1 with the graduation of a senior.
