As we get deeper into the 2024 off-season, another season of high school football is quickly approaching. With that being said, it is time for another round of rankings updates. The third update of our rankings for the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky has been officially posted! Over the next week or so, I will be doing positional breakdowns at each position. To kick things off, here are our top quarterbacks in the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky.

He led Bowling Green to another 5A State Championship title this past season, completing 242/352 passes for 3,517 yards, 43 touchdowns, and seven interceptions in 15 games. Bailey has a cannon for an arm, which he uses to stretch the field in the deep passing game. He is also very impressive when under pressure, showing the ability to escape the pocket while keeping his eyes down the field to make tough throws on the run. Bailey has also shown the ability to make plays as a ball carrier, finishing this past season with 53 carries for 205 yards and eight touchdowns. Deuce currently holds offers from Murray State, Miami (OH), Eastern Kentucky, and Missouri State, and I expect more to come his way as he is a true FBS caliber prospect with the potential to play as high as the Power 4 level.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["735547"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='735547' first='Jack' last='James'] is another quarterback that has stayed consistently high in our rankings. He had another strong season as a junior, completing 255/375 passes for 4,019 yards, 56 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 14 games. James has shown the ability to make every throw imaginable, using impressive ball placement/accuracy to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. He has also shown that he has the arm strength to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game. James also showed the ability to make plays with his legs when needed this past season, running the ball 52 times for 247 yards and six touchdowns. Jack is committed to Troy where I can see him developing into a very productive quarterback at the next level.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["373782"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='373782' first='Brady' last='Atwell'] is a player that made a name for himself with a very impressive 2023 season. As a junior, Atwell completed 301/434 passes for 4,743 yards, 68 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 15 games. He has a strong arm which he uses to stretch the field in the deep passing game. I also have been very impressed with his accuracy, as he has shown the ability to hit receivers out of their breaks where they can make catches without breaking stride. Atwell also showed his true dual-threat ability this past season, leading his team in rushing with 69 carries for 695 yards and 17 touchdowns. Brady is committed to play baseball at Western Kentucky but he has the talent to play quarterback at the Division I level if he has a sudden change of heart and has received football offers from Murray State and Eastern Kentucky.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["331739"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='331739' first='Bryce' last='Button'] is a quarterback that has been high on our radar for a while now and continued to impress this past season. He had a strong junior year, completing 189/290 passes for 3,274 yards, 38 touchdowns, and five interceptions in 12 games. Button has a great feel for pressure, showing the ability to escape the pocket while keeping his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. He also throws an impressive deep ball, showing the arm strength to stretch the field and touch to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. Button has also shown the ability to tuck the ball and make plays as a ball carrier when needed, finishing this past season with 50 carries for 290 yards and seven touchdowns. Bryce currently holds offers from Louisiana Monroe, Murray State, Eastern Michigan, Arkansas State, and Eastern Kentucky, and I expect more to come his way as he has the talent to play quarterback at the Division I level.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["373049"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"To wrap up our top five quarterbacks in the class of 2025 in the state of Kentucky, I have [player_tooltip player_id='373049' first='Luke' last='Pennington']. Luke is coming off a strong junior year in which he completed 171/252 passes for 2,555 yards, 50 touchdowns, and zero interceptions in 13 games. Pennington does a great job of going through his progressions to find the open man and you won't see him force many throws, hence his zero interceptions. He also has the arm strength to lead his receivers down the field in the deep passing game and has the touch to put the ball where only his intended receiver can catch it. Luke also scored one rushing touchdown this past season. Pennington surprisingly doesn't hold any official offers yet but he has received some college interest and I expect that first offer to come his way soon as he is a Division I caliber quarterback prospect.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-662947bbb633c"} /-->
