MVPs
Solis will be a 4-year starter at Aquinas and he is a veteran of the Under Armour Camp.
He has put on some muscle since I last saw him and he was the star of the one-on-one period against the linebackers. I didn’t see Solis lose any reps and often saw him burning past linebackers with his explosiveness.
Solis was often open with a 5-yard cushion making it easy on the quarterbacks.
Chavez had a great junior season at Orange Lutheran and impressed the coaches at the camp on Sunday.
He was consistently beating linebackers on short and deep routes and has excellent hands.
OTHER TOP PERFORMERS
Carr had some of the best double moves of the camp and can really turn the speed up when he bursts out of the second move.
He has good hands and when he gets into the open field, few guys can catch him.
Roby has a big frame and knows how to use his strength to get 50/50 balls.
He moves well I can see him filling the shoes of Cornell Hatcher Cornell Hatcher 6’0″ | 195 lbs | RB Centennial | 2024 State CA very well.
Highlights
Santino looked good in the individual drills as well as the one-on-one period. He can change direction on a dime and catch defenders over-persuing.
Stokes may have been the best overall class of 2027 player at the event.
He is twitchy, can change directions smoothly and make tough catches look easy. Stokes also plays with some swagger and confidence.
Highlights
LINEBACKERS
MVP
Coach worked out with the defensive line as well as the linebackers.
He was getting his hands on the ball and was able to hang with nearly all the running backs on deeper balls.
Coach has an excellent frame for a 2027 guy and has a ton of upside.
OTHER TOP PERFORMERS
Talanoa Ili Talanoa Ili 6’4″ | 215 lbs | LB Orange Lutheran | 2026 State CA has more length than a lot of linebackers and knows how to use it to his advantage.
He was getting his hands on passes all day without causing much contact that would warrant a pass interference. Running backs had a hard time creating separation against Ili and his stock is rapidly rising.
Sanders had a pick six in the biggest game of the year last season and showed again on Sunday that he is excellent in pass coverage.
The recent Alabama commit moves well laterally and has the speed to hang all the running backs up the field.
Very few players got to the flat as quickly as Bible did in the reps I saw him win on Sunday.
He has put on a lot of muscle since I last saw him and he is primed for a huge year at Millikan.
Knoos won a lot of reps on the underneath routes and does a good job timing when to throw his body into the back to break up the pass.
He has solid quickness and football instincts.
