Strengths – Last year was the first season as the starting QB for MUS and Hughes did not disappoint. His numbers weren’t as high as others but the Owls ran a balanced offense that was able to show off how Hughes can control an NFL style offense where the quarterback has to control the line of scrimmage. This Memphis signal caller is a cerebral guy that shows a great feel for the game along with strong pocket presence. Hughes seems unphased with pressure in his face while keeping his eyes down field, looking for the open receiver. He is able to push it down field with quick arm action and strength that will definitely continue to get stronger as he matures and grows. Hughes has good arm power and I love the way the ball zips out his hands and gets to his receiver quickly. Hesitation on his pass doesn’t appear on film, which speaks to strong confidence and a fearless attitude that I think plays well on the next level. Mobility is also a good strength for Hughes as he handles the pocket well, maintaining his balance, looking to make the pass always but has the athleticism to tuck it and run if needed.
Development – Looking through clips and film from this rising senior quarterback, Hughes has a lot of tools that work well for the college game and to find his ultimate upside, added arm strength and continuing to learn coverage will be key to reaching his maximum capabilities. It’s simply about learning the game further for Hughes as I feel tons of tools are already in place to be successful.
Overview – I really like the potential of this West Tennessee talent. His name may be a tad under the radar at the moment but I think once coaches are able to see Hughes throw in person during spring practice and in summer camps, his stock will take off. Watching him move and throw the ball, Hughes reminds me a bit of Brock Purdy from the San Francisco 49ers. He is built almost similarly at 6’2 195 pounds with a quick release and enough arm power to push it down field. His feel in the pocket and calm presence is also something that reminds me of Purdy as well. The Owls senior passer has low tread on his tires too as Hughes has one year of starting experience under his belt, so there is plenty of growth there that I feel will shine brighter this coming Fall. Overall, Hughes is a good looking prospect with upside that I foresee gaining steam on the recruiting trail as the weeks, months go on that I feel could be a steal for whoever he eventually signs with.

Strengths – College size is something Larkin immediately has when he steps onto the playing field and over the past year, the Raptors O-lineman has done a good job of forming his body and bringing it to a place that has D1 and Power Programs looking in his direction. Brute strength and moving his man off the ball is Larkin’s calling card right now as he does a good job at using his big hands to lock on to his defender and drive him back to the 2nd level. He is a mauler that can physically take over his man and drive him down field or place him on the ground with a pancake. This Mid-Tennessee product is a naturally strong young man that has the potential to manhandle his opponents. Larkin does show potential to play tackle on the next level with continued work on the field but his biggest upside may reside inside at guard where he can open up holes in the run game and provide pass blocking from the interior. Looking at his film and watching his progression over the last year, you can see why D1 schools have offered and are in pursuit of this 6’6 285 pound trench monster.
Development – Agility, bend and explosion are the first three traits that immediately stand out to me when it comes to Larkin’s development and him reaching his maximum potential on the collegiate gridiron. I think all three of those traits are something Larkin is aware of as well, that’s why he has worked hard on forming his body, so he can develop further athleticism. This is a good athlete though as Larkin can dunk a basketball but with added agility and explosion, the potential to play tackle remains in the cards.
Overview – This guy could turn out to be a “safe” prospect to sign due to his size, line versatility and willingness to work and improve every step of the way. Larkin has dedicated himself in a big way to football over the past year, taking his game to another level and clearly placing himself on the map as a top O-lineman from our #TN2025 class. The Raptors senior mauler is still growing and developing into his body, so I feel Larkin is continuing to form into the lineman he will be on the college stage. He may need more time to enhance his athleticism and agility to hang on the outside but long term wise, Larkin could be a strong addition due to his physicality and ability to play multiple positions across the O-line.

Strengths – Sacking quarterbacks since his freshman season, Hazzard has been a highly productive ball player since the moment he stepped on the field with Page with his junior season ending as a finalist for Class 5A Mr. Football. This 6 ‘3 250 pound edge defender has the natural feel for getting after the quarterback due his football intelligence, non-stop motor and physical game play that will only get better as he continues to grow. Hazzard shows excellent burst off the snap then uses his bend and hands to get around blockers to chase down the ball. Once he bends the corner, the Pats rising senior usually finds the football due to his ability to turn on the jets, find that extra juice and pursue the quarterback with veracity. He also has solid range, meaning you can stand Hazzard up and have him string out the run game or he could chase down the ball sideline to sideline. Dependability and leadership are also two strong qualities about this Mid-Tennessee talent. To my recollection, Hazzard hasn’t missed a game throughout his high school career. He has also been a part of three state title contending defenses at Page and it’s possible there is a 4th this Fall. This guy is a winner who produces at a high level and someone that can depend on each and every week.
Improvement – Increased agility and speed are the lone areas about this Williamson County talent that needs further work and if Hazzard can enhance those skills, watch out!! Everything’s in place for him to be elite as long as he increases that lower base explosion. Hazzard is also in the process of forming his body as he sits at his biggest weight so far through his high school life at 250 pounds, which was another area to improve but the Pats defensive end is already working on that.
Overview – If you want someone that is clean, dependable and willing to do anything for his team to win, Hazzard is your guy. He has done nothing but produce at a high level ever since he stepped onto the high school playing field and that’s because this guy “knows” how to play football. It’s in his blood! Hazzard grew up around the game, so he understands what it takes to compete and win at a high level. The fact that his skill set centers around sacking the quarterback should be more than appealing to collegiate coaches looking for someone who constantly plays in the opponent’s backfield. Not only is this guy talented enough to excel on the field but Hazzard is a key piece for your locker room as well because the guy is all business and he never wavers off that attitude. D1 schools have offered but those elusive big boys have yet to come through, however I think that changes in time as more and more coaches fall in love with how this guy plays and how it can be used on the collegiate gridiron.

Strengths – The moment this native Canadian steps onto the field, he immediately looks the part as llunga-Bisselele is well built physically, sporting the body to step onto a college playing field today and compete. His well built body and frame plays as he can run through blockers, chasing down the ball or have the strength to take on blocks and shed them. Looking through his junior film, Ilunga-Bisselele shows excellent upside as a run stuffer on the collegiate level that can also provide edge work as well. The Red Raiders rising senior is a good athlete that can bend and get after the quarterback or drop into space and play against the pass. He may not have the preferred size to play off the edge but he makes up for it with his motor, athleticism and desire to find the ball. Ilunga-Bisselele shows good burst on film and initial speed that plays up well on the collegiate gridiron. His versatility on defense is a strength of his but I feel his biggest upside resides at inside linebacker where he stuff the run and rush the middle of the field blowing up that run play or pulling down the quarterback.
Improvement – Thinking long and hard about what Ilunga-Bisselele could be working on this off-season to develop further and it came to doing everything. Coming from Canada down here to high school football in Tennessee, Ilunga-Bisselele handled himself just fine but to take his game further and sustain it, the 6 ‘1 linebacker simply needs to learn the game much more while continuing to stay in the weight room and playing field. All about experience with this guy and I feel with this current off-season, Ilunga-Bisselele will take the steps needed to become a potential D1 prospect.
Overview – This is a good prospect to get on board with as I see a guy here that is still learning the game and developing into his body but his junior film shows tremendous upside as a middle backer with a versatile skill set. He will need to continue adding more speed and explosion to his game but the mold and natural abilities are there. I think you will see his skills shine brighter this Fall as Ilunga-BIsselele should take on a bigger role with his Red Raiders defense and establish himself as one of the top middle backers from our #TN2025 recruiting class.

Strengths – Tall and long with a physical body and secondary versatility, Couvertiere is one of the more interesting defensive back prospects we have from our #TN2025 class that could develop himself into a Power Two level guy over the coming months. The first thing you notice of course is this guy’s size and how that size can be used at multiple roles across the secondary. Couvertiere uses his size to his advantage as he plays a physical brand of football but also understands how to his length to keep his opponent near. The Bulldogs rising senior shows tremendous instincts along with closing speed and the ability to work through his receiver towards the ball. His size and athletic traits do show upside to play cover corner in college but for that to happen, more speed will be needed. Either way, Couvertiere and his ball hawk mentality translates very well to the collegiate game where his size and skill set could work at corner, nickel or on the back end at safety.
Improvement – While this East Tennessee product provides excellent size and potential, he must continue adding more speed and agility to become the kind of player I and others think he can be. Couterviere is a good athlete but increasing his lower base explosion and quickness could allow him to compete on the outside in college.
Overview – This is a prospect that is high on my list as a breakout star this off-season and for the coming Fall football year as Couvertiere has college size, ball hawk instincts and the physicality that coaches would love to work with and mold. He shows on film good patience and dedication to his craft along with position versatility that will only get better the more he grows into his body and the more he learns the game. The Bulldogs defensive back has already landed a few D1 offers and I think the floodgates will break open soon with Power Programs getting involved due to his natural athletic abilities, size and secondary versatility that translates very well to the college game. Keep an ear out for the Couvertiere name moving forward as I think this a budding star in the making!
