DR7’s 7v7 circuit made their annual stop in the Tulsa area over the weekend. We were able to check in on pool play Saturday and bracket play on Sunday. We saw a ton of Oklahoma talent on display and will have several spotlights throughout the next few days on Prep Redzone Oklahoma. In this article, we’re putting the spotlight on the quarterback position. These five signal callers stood out to us when we watched them throughout the weekend.
Tuttle 2026 quarterback Cruz Campbell Cruz Campbell 6’0″ | 180 lbs | QB Tuttle | 2026 State OK played for Hustle Inc 405 this weekend and they lost a double OT heartbreaker in the 18U semifinals. We didn’t see every single quarterback in the tournament but of the quarterbacks we saw, Campbell was the best of the best. We watched two of his games on Saturday and I don’t think the ball ever hit the turf. Campbell was on point with his accuracy on the deep ball and teams could not stop Campbell and this offense from striking time after time. On Sunday, he showcased the variety of throws that he could make all over the field and not just the deep ball. We came away very impressed with Campbell and he’s one of the best in his class.

This was the fourth consecutive weekend that we’ve seen Union 2027 quarterback Kason Delgado Kason Delgado 6’0″ | 170 lbs | QB Union | 2027 State OK in person and we’re running out of ways to say that he’s good. Three of those weekends came in 7v7 tournaments and last week we watched him at the Under Armour camp in Dallas. And every time we’ve seen him in the last month, he’s impressed us. This weekend in particular, Delgado was navigating windy conditions throughout the day on Sunday and it wasn’t a problem. Earlier this month, Delgado picked up his first D1 offer and it won’t be the last. He got his first taste of varsity football last fall and continues to improve his game every time we see him in person.

Morrison 2025 quarterback Mason Schubert Mason Schubert 6’2″ | 195 lbs | QB Morrison | 2025 State OK performed very well for the second time in three weeks in Broken Arrow. Two weeks ago, Schubert was outstanding at the PRZ 7v7 tourney and he followed that up with another good performance at the DR7 tournament. The lefty played for Sooner 7’s Bravo team this weekend and was on top of his game. One thing specific about his game that stood out to us while watching him was his timing and the progression from one read to another. While we were watching, Schubert rarely made a mistake. The Morrison standout has been a quarterback that we have seen play very well in these 7v7 tournaments. We’re looking forward to what he does this fall.

Muskogee 2027 quarterback Payton Lang Payton Lang 5’8″ | 165 lbs | QB Muskogee | 2027 OK is in a similar position to Union’s Delgado. He’s behind one of the best quarterbacks in the state’s 2025 class so he’s going to have to wait his turn. But just like Delgado, we’ve been really impressed with his play over the last few weeks in 7v7 tournaments. Lang helped lead his Sooner 7 14U team to another championship game and while they fell short, he still performed very well. Lang can absolutely sling the ball all over the field. But one thing that also stood out to us was Lang turning around and playing some defensive back. He’s an outstanding athlete and he appears to be the guy after Ficklin graduates. It looks like Muskogee is in good hands.

Union 2025 quarterback and recent Utah commit Shaker Reisig Shaker Reisig 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Union | 2025 State OK was once again one of the top quarterbacks we watched in person this weekend. As always, the ball rarely hit the turf while we were watching as Reisig always delivered the ball with accuracy and he also doesn’t push his luck either. If a play isn’t there, he didn’t take the risk of making a mistake. He would hold on to the ball and live to fight another day. Reisig has the reputation of being the most accurate quarterback in Oklahoma and you can see why after watching him in person. Reisig and 918 Elite made a run in bracket play and the Utah commit continues to build chemistry with his new receivers that will play more this fall.
