It is clear that there are several athletes who are off to a fantastic start when it comes to developing themselves into high end college prospects. To help get a taste of the talent we are going to go through the tape of the Top 10 and breakdown what they bring to the field. This is going to be a fun class to follow through 2027. Let’s get started!
Our #1 player in the Class is Bay Port’s 6’5″ 275 lbs OT who has already earned some varsity action along with his JV experience. The big man demonstrates an impressive array of traits already. To go along with the overall size and length, David has done a great job of building up his footwork and the body control needed to dominate in the trenches. He has shown he can pull or get up to level two. He is quick out of his stance and is able to transition that quickness right into power at the point of contact with his opponent. Watching through the tape I am very impressed by how patient he is for his age. You don’t see him lunging or reaching for his opponent. Instead he trusts that his feet will get him where he needs to be and when he needs to be there. I am very excited to see how the young man builds on his freshman tape. Big things ahead.

Trenton is a stud at OT for Racine Lutheran. He is coming up on 6’2″ 270 lbs, and the way he moves at that size is special. Good luck finding a kid more dedicated to putting the work in during the offseason. It showed up on tape this past fall where the freshman was as reliable as they come. The technique is so clean. Light on his feet, shoulders square over his feet and never reaching for his opponent. He is able to slide laterally and change direction to mirror pass rushers and there is nice pop in his hands on first contact. The upper body strength shows up consistently too as he controls his man and steers him where he wants to take him.

The 6’5″ 200 lbs freshman is a two way impact player, leading us to putting him as our #1 ATH. I expect that to switch to TE as we go forward because he is turning into a special talent/mismatch at that position. Korz runs with long strides that eat up ground and surprises you with his ability to get deep or cross the field quickly. The big man shows a wide catch radius and soft hands. He has the ability to adjust last second, go up and get it, or grab it off his shoelaces. The freshman also shows a knack for finding the soft spots in coverage so his QB has an easy target. Korz has the receiving part of the position down. I’m excited to see how the physicality after the catch side of his game continues develops as well as his blocking.

Another big specimen on the OL is Pewaukee’s Cade Reikowski Cade Reikowski 6’4″ | 250 lbs | OL Pewaukee | 2027 State WI . Cade checks in at 6’4″ 250 lbs and he plays with a physicality to match. The OT comes out of his stance looking to put kids in the dirt in the run game. Whether with his first punch or running them off the line until they end up on their back, Cade sets the tone in the run game. His strength is far superior compared to other kids his age, but he doesn’t allow that to let him slack off. The big man uses his feet to get him in position to wall off opponents and he is a smooth mover out in space leading screens. He is at a great point in his growth, mentality, athleticism, and power. Big things ahead for him.
Max was all over the field in his freshman season. We saw him at WR, safety, and QB with success at all of them. At the safety position we see Max’s instincts stand out from the crowd. He reads the QB and routes very well and then has the range to bait and jump routes. At WR we see the overall athleticism take over and win matchups. He can get deep with pure speed, stack the DB, and reel in passes. Or he can show off the short area burst coming out of cuts in his route. Max’s size also stands out from the crowd, usually the biggest athlete in the secondary compared to other JV athletes. I’m excited to see him this fall and see if he can carve out some action on Friday nights.

WR comes to us from Kenosha Bradford where they have been pumping out impressive WR prospects for years on end. Next up looks like Lorenzz Pratt. Pratt already shows the balance and explosive burst in and out of breaks that open up separation. It shows up after the catch too with his jukes when avoiding DBs. The freshman also has the speed to stretch the field. We saw him in the slot a lot and he was able to split safeties up the seam with success. Larenzz is a natural hands catcher on top of the impressive athletic traits. The freshman WR has a strong starting point as he look sot continue to turn into a matchup nightmare. Don’t miss this kid.
QB1 for the Class of 2027 comes from lake Mills HS. The freshman was the varsity starter for a playoff team, and was a big factor in his team’s success. Tyler looks the part at 6’3″ 185 lbs. The footwork is so quick, yet consistent. That allows him to get through his drop quick and get the ball out or slide and reset in an instant when he finds an open receiver. I’m excited to watch the arm strength continue to improve because he already shows an arm that can push the ball downfield without having to get much air under the ball. In the short/intermeidate areas we already see him threading the needle with velocity and pinpoint ball placement. The young signal caller is also a quick decision maker who plays with confidence. The accuracy doesn’t dip when Tyler is on the move either or if he has to use an altered arm angle. Wollin is an exciting prospect at QB that college coaches will want to have their eyes on.
We have another impressive Flanagan coming through the Green Bay Notre Dame program. Richie is already 6’3″ 240 lbs with a ton of room to continue to grow and add size and muscle. The big man was able to work his way into some varsity playing time in his freshman year on a team that made it to Level 4 of the playoffs. Richie plays with the range to be able to pull across the formation and lead up to level two. He is so light on his feet, allowing him to easily slide laterally. The freshman also has a solid burst out of his stance to get into his man’s chest and drive them off the ball in the run game. Richie does a great job of using leverage to his advantage. The film constantly shows his helmet lower than his opponent’s even though he is usually the bigger athlete. Between his size, range, flexibility, and strength Richie is well on his way to developing into a high quality prospect for the next level.

We close out our Top 10 coverage with a look at the WR/DB out of Kenosha Tremper. On defense Brock thrives in zone coverage. He has a great combination of speed and instincts that allow him to always be around the ball in the passing game. He is able to attack out of his backpedal and can flip his hips and run smoothly. At WR Brock seems to win with his pure athleticism. When they want to stretch the field Baldwin has the speed to get past the CB and run under the ball. He also thrives in the short game with his acceleration out of breaks. That burst opens up all the space needed of this QB to target. The kid has the natural hands needed to make the tough catches too. Brock has the physical and mental tools that put him on the path towards being a next level recruit.
