. The big, long athlete is another kid who has seen a huge leap in his abilities over the past year as everything came together. The strength now matches the big frame, allowing him to set a strong anchor and quickly clear running lanes. The big fella has always played on very nimble feet too, which should allow him to stay out at OT at the next level.

The OT out of West De Pere has been seeing a surge in his recruitment over recent weeks. The 6’5″ 275 lbs OL is the top ranked uncommitted OT here in WI. Over the years we have seen David’s mobility, flexibility, agility, and overall footwork lead him to a lot of success. Pair that with his length and the ’27 has always been able to get hands on and control his opponent. Over this past year we have seen David take that next step with the improvement in the strength category. Now the massive OT is not just getting hands on and controlling, but getting hands on and mauling DL. You see him clear out gaps with his lower body power.
That growth has happened right alongside an increase in his recruitment. David currently holds offers from Kent State, Akron, Columbia, Ball State, Northern Iowa, Lindenwood, Northern Illinois, and Sacramento State.

David had a great D2 Championship Game performance. We have been a huge fan of him since he entered high school. It is easy to stay a big fan because the kid is always improving. He came into this season bigger than ever, yet he has maintained the footwork, balance, and athleticism to succeed at OT at a high level. That pass protection reactive athleticism vs pass rushers was on full display this season in the WDP offense. David has made huge strides in using his length, knowing when to set his anchor vs power, and also mirroring speedy/agile rushers. David had a tough matchup in the final game, but held his own which allowed his QB to orchestrate a fantastic day. Great showing from the consistently improving junior OT.

. In 2024 he was a key piece for the D1 State Champions. In 2025 he will block for one of the most prolific offenses that will be back on the field in WI. He is going to bring grit and toughness to an OL that will be looking to fill some holes and maintain its high level of play from 2024. David should fit well into he pass heavy offense. He is a nimble IOL, and that should help him to stay square in front of his lineman. That range will also help open things up when WDP leans on their stable of RBs. Keep an eye out for David.

Another member of this elite OL group that will not surprise me in the least to see him earn his first offer is Bay Port’s

. The sophomore already has a ton of varsity experience where he has more than held his own. David has the frame of a D1 recruit with room to continue to pack on the size and strength going forward. On tape you have to love how quick he is out of his stance, allowing him to get into the chest of his man and win the leverage battle consistently. David also does a great job with his mobility while engaged with a DL to stay square on them, and also when moving from that level one block up to an LB to secure the alley for his RB. If David can come out to camps and show that his power has continued to progress I think he is going to make a lot of coaching staffs confident that he can play at that D1 level in the future. Check out the impressive tape from the ’27 OG as he helped his varsity team earn their first D1 State Championship this past fall!

David has made excellent strides in his development this season. He has an outstanding frame with the length needed to dominate on the OL. His game is becoming so well rounded. The sophomore is showing that he can be a quick, reactive IOL who can quickly cut off defenders trying to shoot through the gap and when he catches them David punishes them with his power and finish to his blocks. Provost’s range is getting impressive too. Whether it be getting to level two and beyond or reaching a man or getting out in space, the sophomore is able to get there and land his block. The power that David plays with is quickly developing too. We now see him consistently drive his man out of the lane, into level two, or down the line of scrimmage. Wherever he takes them it usually leaves a hole behind him for his RB to use. Big things ahead for David.

David is manning the left guard position on the loaded Bay Port offensive line. In Week 1 the big man got off to a hot start vs a very good Middleton team. David flashed the range to pull and lead up to level two. He showed some anchor strength to stuff blitzing LBs in pass protection. David had a lot of success utilizing double teams to create a big push in the trenches and then could work his way up to secure a block on level two. The big man definitely moves well and his strength is improved over his freshman season. Big things ahead for David as he continues to develop.

Our #1 player in the Class is Bay Port’s 6’5″ 275 lbs OT who has already earned some varsity action along with his JV experience. The big man demonstrates an impressive array of traits already. To go along with the overall size and length, David has done a great job of building up his footwork and the body control needed to dominate in the trenches. He has shown he can pull or get up to level two. He is quick out of his stance and is able to transition that quickness right into power at the point of contact with his opponent. Watching through the tape I am very impressed by how patient he is for his age. You don’t see him lunging or reaching for his opponent. Instead he trusts that his feet will get him where he needs to be and when he needs to be there. I am very excited to see how the young man builds on his freshman tape. Big things ahead.
