Allen comes in as the top ranked QB in the state in the initial 2027 PRZ rankings after a big freshman season at Central throwing for 2,100 yards and 28 touchdowns. At 5’11” 170 lbs. he’s a natural passer with a smooth over the top delivery. His release is quick and compact allowing him to get the ball out quickly while hitting receivers in stride. Shows he can be accurate and hit his spots to all three levels of the field and flashes the arm strength to throw off platform without sacrificing velocity. Like his ability to layer the ball over second level defenders with touch and trajectory. Plus footwork and mobility in the pocket, he’s never rushed and shows he can escape pressure and extend the play while keeping his eyes downfield for an open target. Good ability to go through his progression without forcing the ball into coverage, only threw 3 interceptions on 178 attempts in 2023. Transferred to Chaparral for his sophomore season and has good upside/potential as he continues to develop.
Highlights
At 6’0” 175 lbs. Patterson is an impressive safety prospect with great range and reactionary quickness. Equally effective in both coverage and run support. A plus athlete that is smooth in the hips and can quickly change directions to transition out of his back pedal. Like his recovery speed and short area acceleration to close space with the ball in the air. Plays well with his eyes to read and react with the instincts to anticipate and make quick breaks on the ball. Strong one on one open field tackler that can break down in space and wrap up to the ground. Takes good angles of pursuit and can bring heavy contact when he’s able to line up a ball carrier. A dual sport athlete (football/track) that picked up his first offer from Colorado State in January.
Noche is a dynamic athlete with explosive speed and playmaking ability out of the slot. At 5’7” 155 lbs. he’s got great fluidity in his movement with the acceleration and change of direction to be elusive and make defenders miss in the open field. Love his field awareness and creative instincts as a ball carrier. Does a good job creating separation at the short and intermediate levels with sharp cuts and good head fakes to break off defenders at the top of his routes. Possesses strong ball skills and concentration with the ability to make tough contested catches in tight spaces. A homerun threat every time he touches the ball, can take end arounds and make explosive plays in the return game. Dual sport athlete that runs a 11.13 100m and jumps over 21 feet in the long jump. Picked up his first offer from Arizona State and was voted the first-ever NFL Flag Football Player of the Year being recognized at the Pro Bowl.
Tahi is a force on the interior defensive line at 6’3” 300 lbs. Already possesses ideal size with a well-balanced frame and a strong lower half. Powerful at the POA, he’s able to eat up space and anchor down to neutralize blockers and be an effective two-gap defender. Like his ability to use his strong punch and powerful hands to control blockers and then disengage to free himself up to make a tackle. Plus natural movement skills, shows he can bend and redirect in the short area in pursuit of the ball carrier. He’s a smart football player, that is quick to recognize run/pass and locate the ball. Does a good job feeling and reacting to screen plays. He is the top ranked 2027 DL in the state and checks a lot of boxes for the D1 level.
Tyson is an electric athlete with track level speed, runs a 10.9 in the 100 meter. At 6’2” 170 lbs. he’s got good length and growth potential to add weight to his frame without sacrificing his speed. Flashes great initial quickness and acceleration off the LOS and into his drive phase to close space on the DB. He’s smooth in and out of his breaks showing the ability to drop his hips and burst out at the top to create separation. Plus ball judgement skills, he’s able to track and quickly adjust body positioning to make a play at the catch point. Dangerous after the catch, he’s got a sustained second gear to run away from defenders and is tough to catch once he finds space. Finished the 2023 season with 11 touchdowns, six receiving, three kickoff returns, and two punt returns. Strong foundational skillset to build on with D1 size and speed.
