Izaiah earns a bump from #18 all the way up to #10 in this rankings update. Really not much has changed with Isaiah other than me watching a bit more film. In my eyes, him, Jayden Terry Jayden Terry 5’8″ | 175 lbs | RB Grandville | 2026 State MI , and Kory Amachree Kory Amachree 6’0″ | 195 lbs | RB Haslett | 2026 State MI are neck and neck in terms of skill. The 2026 Running Back Class is a three-headed monster like we’ve never seen before.rnMore on Izaiah, he’s arguably the best bellcow back in this class. It’s a bit difficult to compare Izaiah and Jayden because of the vastly different offensive styles they’re in, but for me those two prospects are neck and neck as I said above. Izaiah’s best traits are his vision and contact balance. Think Blake Corum. Blake isn’t the fastest RB, but he exceled with his vision and superb ability to bounce off tackles. Izaiah is probably the best in this class at absorbing contact and keeping his legs moving, which is largely a credit to his work in the weight room.
I don’t know why I hadn’t heard of Nate until I watched him at the State Championship, but I’m sort of glad I got to view him without any bias. I was a tad hard on Nate for his State Championship performance, and although I stand by what I said (I still don’t think that was his BEST game), I’ve seen him enough since then to get a great idea of what he’s capable of. In a more controlled camp setting, I was able to view his fundamentals, the way he reads the field, and his accuracy in the pocket a lot better. First off, Nate’s fundamentals are as consistent as I’ve ever seen. Everything from his feet to his throwing motion is extremely consistent. He can also read a defense better than most. He’s also very accurate for a High School QB- sure he can miss some throws from time to time but his throw power + placement is usually top notch. All of this and more is why Nate earns a very significant bump from #61 all the way up to #21.

Jake is another QB who earns a bit of a bump. It’s a combination of positional value and what I think his ceiling is. Last summer, I was able to get a first impression of the young QB at the Hope 7on7 tournament. I thought he had the best overall talent of the entire tournament and spread the ball around the field very well. It looks like he had a great season, and I know he works extremely hard with his offseason training.
Ike gets a significant bump in the rankings, mostly due to his trajectory. I’ve said it recently, but I don’t think Ike dominated Friday Nights like most D1 prospects. That may sound harsh, but he’s earned a big jump because I firmly believe he’s on the way to huge performances in 2024- and colleges seem to think so too. His work in the weight room is especially impressive. This, in addition to his contact balance and powerful running earns himself a decent jump in the rankings. With a bit better vision and speed, he’ll be able to dominate the new-look OK-Green. That said, I am extremely excited to catch a Mona Shores game this coming season.

I wrote about Luke literally two days ago, so view this article for my full thoughts.rnIn a nutshell, Luke has been a guy I’ve heard a lot about in the past couple months. Looking more into his film, it’s obvious that his performance backs up the tape. The tape plus a couple of trusted sources make me very confident that Luke is on his way to being an elite player in Michigan. West Michigan as a whole is definitely way under-recruited when compared to the Detroit area, and I think it’s only a matter of time before colleges find out about Luke Ahern Luke Ahern 6’0″ | 195 lbs | DB Rockford | 2026 State MI . Luke is a GLIAC prospect at the very least.

Ryland has always been ranked as a quarterback, but this time around, I changed his position to ATH. As a Quarterback, he’s a great Veer QB, but I don’t think he’s an amazing QB prospect. Ryland does show a ton of promise as a linebacker/safety, though. Considering the 7on7 performances I watched of him, I’m confident he could be a D2 target for the defensive side of the ball.
