Another impressive showing out of Bethel Park junior Ryan Petras Ryan Petras 5’9″ | 165 lbs | ATH Bethel Park | 2025 State PA . Petras has floated around the middle of our rankings for some time, I’ve questioned whether or not he could reproduce his production over the years. I’ve questioned his size and if he could replicate his two-way abilities. After watching his junior tapes, encompassing what he’s done in the past as well, it’s hard to leave Petras outside of the PRZ Top 250. That “58” number next to his ranking might seem harsh, that is until you realize 26 ATHs were given FBS grades. Knowing what I know about PSAC boards, I doubt Ryan Petras Ryan Petras 5’9″ | 165 lbs | ATH Bethel Park | 2025 State PA falls anywhere underneath a D2 threshold, a big compliment considering he hasn’t reached his senior year in high school. Yes, stature and how it could affect his recruitment is a valid question that will arise, yet I wouldn’t be surprised to find FCS schools digging into his tape a bit further. Fantastic corner/wideout/return man. You play Bethel Park, you’re going to need to account for all things Ryan Petras Ryan Petras 5’9″ | 165 lbs | ATH Bethel Park | 2025 State PA .

Outside lane, slot capable wideout who bolstered his offensive production and trustworthiness. Lindsey has expanded on promising freshman and sophomore tape, specifically at DB. I’ve previously written that Jayden Lindsey Jayden Lindsey 5’8″ | 135 lbs | ATH Bishop Canevin | 2025 State PA is on the shortlist of 2025 DBs whose football IQ can be seen on tape. Awesome awareness of all things around him, especially when aligned at corner. Great understanding of leverage, can key when passing concepts are attempting to attack him vertically. Great flash to the flat, short stride yet can keep up with many great prospects who challenge him down the sideline. Petras and Lindsey are in similar situations in terms of projecting future recruitment status. Both fall beneath standard measurement thresholds for most D2s in PA, yet their production and tape are arguably better than some D2s getting looks out of the 2024 class this Winter. Lindsey is excelling in the classroom too, he’s a kid I’m willing to bet for rather than against.

The athlete on this list with the highest upside in my opinion. Below Petras and Lindsey because of production. A clear option for the ball early in sets. Likely the first option in many passing concepts. A rhythm setter, can call LOS tunnel, pop screens to get QBs comfortable, even to move the chains. Multiple PBUs and interceptions on film serving as the program’s top corner. Durham’s offensive production is icing on the cake, he’s natural with the ball in his hands, where I think he could excel at the next level is at corner, however. Touchdowns are great but watching Durham float in the secondary and run with athletes downfield is what has him ranked inside the Top 250. D3s around the Philadelphia area would be through the roof to have him in the building, yet I think he’s a scholarship-worthy athlete that will likely land on PSAC boards, if he already hasn’t. I’d call him a prospect with a D2 floor. One of the better DBs in support of the run I might add. Lengthy film, one that fully encompasses his entire skillset. A fun watch.

Likely the best pure DB out of the group listed in this piece. Durham is the only one that can hold a candle to his skills at DB. Durham projects to corner, where South Park’s Kenyan Brown Kenyan Brown 6’1″ | 175 lbs | ATH South Park | 2025 State PA projects to the safety position. Long limbs/arms, on the taller side at 6’1, so safety makes sense. Tape starts off with numerous interceptions out of two-high sets. Comfortable playing in the outfield, many of these interceptions, if not all, come with Brown simply playing overshot balls. He can be counted on to be at the right place at the right time. Not overly aggressive, but aware and understands how to rotate with his counterparts. Packs more of a punch than I would have figured in terms of run support. Not a box safety type of run supporter, but one who can make wideouts think twice before crossing his face. He’s a good tackling assister too. His rep at 2:25 on tape shows off his acceleration skills. He separates past a flat-footed DB easily while attacking vertically. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear a college program likes him at wideout over DB, despite my praise. His wideout skills are the cherry on top of his DB skills. Has reps catching comebacks, nine routes, then screens at the LOS. South Park trusts him to work all three levels of the field when at wideout. Ranks inside the top 250, that’s a debut rank too. Watch for him to climb into the top 150 next update.

I’ve shown many seniors, many underclassmen out of Cardinal O’Hara love. I feel as though I overlooked one special two-way player in WR/DB Khalil Epps Khalil Epps 5’10” | 150 lbs | ATH Cardinal O’Hara | 2025 State PA . A wideout with a scary second-gear. Fantastic seperator after the catch is made. Acceleration skills are shown off on tape after witnessing Epps catch screens/slants and taking said routes the distance. 150 pounds soaking wet, not particularly cut-up, yet the kid boasts good hand-eye coordination, as well as the ability to snatch balls above defenders heads with ease. Can see the basketball player in him at times. Like his release off the LOS against off-coverage, usually shows an understanding of stemming, attacks leverage as early as possible, in a manner that should allow him to get open later in the route. Straightline speed is a plus, can expect Caridnal O’Hara to throw some jet-sweep action his way. If this kid finds a seam, a lane of open field, he could separate in a blink and end up in the endzone. Top 250 ranking, placed as an “ATH” for his equally impressive play at outside corner opposite Keon Powell Keon Powell 6’1″ | 180 lbs | DB Cardinal O’Hara | 2024 State PA .

Highly productive junior season for the Montour two-way athlete. I used to pride myself in knowing all the talent Montour has on display, yet I wasn’t privy to knowing AJ Alston AJ Alston 5’11” | 175 lbs | ATH Montour | 2025 State PA in the pre-season. Led the team in scrimmage yards, receptions, as well as TDs scored. His five-score game caught my eye, I knew I’d end up ranking him by the time the season ended. Said five-score game helped Alston’s cause of being named 2nd-Team All-Conference DB & WR. The yards and scores are great but tack on exemplary play at Safety, you’ll understand quickly why I like him designated as an ATH on our site. I’d argue that Alston’s future at the next level will likely be to serve as a program’s slot/LOS playmaker, his abilities with the football in his hands are too good to ignore. That being said, it’s great to have options and experience elsewhere on the field. Should help bolster his resume a bit. It did with me. Fun tape to watch.
A new addition to the rankings, Morrisville’s Ky’iere Rankins Ky’iere Rankins 5’10” | 165 lbs | ATH Morrisville | 2025 State PA debuts inside of the PRZ Top 250. Accumulated 600 rushing yards on the year, doing so at a 7ypc clip. Tape begins like any other “ATH’s would. Taking the snap as the man behind center, peeling out and running for a 40+ yard designed QB run. The very next rep, Rankins is showing off his range at safety, proving he belongs with the others in this list. Four interceptions to his name, a team high. Morrisville utilized Rankins legs well, with the junior scoring ten times on the ground from his QB position. Although I wouldn’t paint Rankins as a prototypical QB prospect, the BAL Defensive Player of the Year can still dish the rock and keep a defense on it’s toes by attacking secondaries vertically. Footwork and mechanics aside, Rankins can deliver an accurate ball 30+ yards downfield. Envelope a phenomenal playmaker with the ball in his hands, add safety skills, add an arm, you’ve got yourself a PRZ Top 75 ATH in the class of 2025.

The last “ATH” to place inside of the PRZ Top 250. Over 1,000 yards from scrimmage this past Fall, racking up 500 yards of offense both on the ground as well as via the air. Bishop Guilfoyle’s Hamilton Gates Hamilton Gates 5’11” | ATH Bishop Guilfoyle | 2025 State PA also reeled in a whopping seven interceptions, along with 50 total tackles, 20+ PBUs, and exemplary work as a kick/punt returner. Hamilton Gates Hamilton Gates 5’11” | ATH Bishop Guilfoyle | 2025 State PA received an FCS grade out of me on my first run through his tape, without even reading his production line. Can run digs, posts, nines, seam benders, he’s a 6’1 wideout who can provide a big target for Kissell. His build allows Gates to be involved in pretty much any passing concept BG wants to throw out there. He can stretch the secondary downfield, he can work the slot, he can work the middle of the field, he can get you first downs if you throw him an occasional screen at the LOS. Is capable of WR1 type load. Is more of a stride/glide past you than a playmaker with the football. He can beat good angles with his speed if you let him. He’s a tough kid too, often seen coming away with catches and interceptions through serious traffic/contact.
After re-watching his tape for this evaluation, I’d argue Gates is a Top 150 prospect if I can rerank off of second looks. Absolute stud.
