A real 6’4, 235 pounds, Marian Catholic’s Michael Gelatko Michael Gelatko 6’4″ | 235 lbs | TE Marian Catholic | 2025 State PA made huge news today, announcing his commitment to the University of Buffalo. Head Coach Pete Lembo and staff pulled the trigger on Gelatko first, securing a top-five tight end among the 2025 PA recruiting class. Huge mutual benefit, with Gelatko headed toward a program trending in the right direction. Gelatko was back up to UB two weekends ago for their spring game, likely cementing his feel for the University in hopes of eventually calling it his future home. The UB staff likely treated him well. Gelatko was likely to hear back from JMU, many FCS schools as well, yet the young man and his family clearly felt at home and wasted no time making future intentions known. We at PRZ are excited to get the chance to watch him grow as he approaches his senior campaign at Marion Catholic.

I’ve pounded the table for the young man and will continue to do so. Ranked inside the top 20 of his class, has a serious future at TE, OL, or DL at Malvern Prep, the versatility is what likely draws interest from FBS teams. Samuels Ford picked up offers out of Kent State and Howard University today, bumping his offer total to three, the first of 2024. This is a young man in line to reap rewards in the coming months. With showcases, serious programs coming to check out the plethora of prospects Malvern Prep deploys, the 6’5, 230-pound two-way prospect is bound to draw important eyes. Happy to see him have a great day in recruiting.
Holds offers from: Maryland, Kent State, Howard.

Quite the week in recruiting for Bethel Park’s 2x All-State ATH Ryan Petras Ryan Petras 5’9″ | 165 lbs | ATH Bethel Park | 2025 State PA . Mentioned this in a piece before, I’ve always been a fan of the young man’s game, how could one not be. I didn’t foresee Petras blowing up the way he has, this is an oversight/miss on my end. Big bump in ranking coming up. Huge early spring, Petras is still keeping steady reeling in offers from Robert Morris, and FBS programs UMass and Army WP all within the last week and some change. Ivy’s and FCS programs are all in on everything Petras, but it’s nice to see the UMass’s and Academy programs stepping in to show love as well. Petras stock is sky-high right now, well deserved.
Have been big on all things Amari Jackson Amari Jackson 6’0″ | 160 lbs | ATH Beaver | 2025 State PA for four/five months now. Jackson’s tape is beginning to bear fruit, as it should. Great month of April in terms of recruiting, with Villanova (Apr 30th) and Bowling Green (Apr 5th) pulling the trigger on the Beaver Area stud. Back in December, I liked Jackson as an FCS-ceiling type of prospect, his burst onto the FBS scene wasn’t expected this early. Glad to see his phenomenal tape getting the attention it deserves. Expect Akron and Miami of Ohio to step in at some point, along with local FCS programs like Duquesne and Robert Morris. Stock is rising.
Approaching almost year-to-date, Tyler Duell Tyler Duell 6’6″ | 280 lbs | OL West Chester East | 2026 State PA came out of the gates securing an FBS offer out of Central Michigan this time last year. Despite great in-house development, despite great film put forth, recruitment had halted a bit in terms of scholarship offers. This a testament to those not in the know, just because offers aren’t being handed out vocally, doesn’t mean you aren’t being actively recruited. Many have Duell on their boards, we have him ranked as the fourth-best OL in his class, top 50 prospect. My evaluation being dead on, with Kent State coming through Coach Stevens’ program to offer the 6’6 offensive linemen. This serving as the young man’s second D1 scholly opportunity. More are in-line, kid is a no-brainer in my opinion. Duell has been active on the recruiting trail, visiting Va Tech, Syracuse, and Notre Dame within the last month or so.

Very excited to see a top-10 receiver getting the love he deserves. Noah Dolbin Noah Dolbin 6’4″ | 185 lbs | WR Nativity BVM | 2025 State PA secured his spot on our rankings after picking up his first offer back in February, this out of Villanova University. Just today, Dolbin expanded his offer list to include Lehigh University, the program always doing a great job identifying local talent, Dolbin a no-brainer in this sense. Dolbin has been attending spring games throughout April, setting aside time to see Pitt and Army WP. Dolbin secured an Army WP offer in March during his Junior Day visit. Glad to see him blowing up a bit. FCS programs in the Northeast/New England area should key in on the Nativity junior.
This one hits home a bit, with West Chester Rustin’s Chase Hatton Chase Hatton 5’10” | 185 lbs | ATH West Chester Rustin | 2025 State PA entering the FBS recruiting scene after previously being un-offered. I have spread this young man’s name throughout the Northeast to whoever would listen, with many not giving Hatton a chance because of measurables, despite my clamoring for turning on his tape. Thankfully, Kent State University trusted their eyes, trusted their evals, and pulled the trigger on the Top 150 prospect. Like many on this list, I thought Hatton carried a G5-ceiling at best, but to know his first offer came from an FBS program, Hatton could easily tear through the roof set by myself. We are excited for him!
