is a complete offensive tackle with the skills to be a good College Football player. His size (6’6″), strength, and athleticism are top-flight. Duell recruitment continued to bloom this year, and he was the target of many college football programs, but he decided to commit to Rutgers. This is a massive commitment for Rutgers to get not only a top offensive line prospect but also to make a big recruiting win in the state of Pennsylvania.

A top-five tackle prospect is finally picking up serious Power Four steam. Duell is hitting his third recruiting stride, his first being his FBS stamp via Central Michigan, his second being a flurry of offers led by ACC’s Duke being in the mix. Now, with Virginia Tech offering the West Chester East product. Like many listed above, the ACC is fully in on Duell, with more programs likely reaching out. Can he hit BIG10 status before his senior year begins next Fall? I believe he’s capable, he’s proving our ranking to be right.

came out of the gates securing an FBS offer out of Central Michigan this time last year. Despite great in-house development, despite great film put forth, recruitment had halted a bit in terms of scholarship offers. This a testament to those not in the know, just because offers aren’t being handed out vocally, doesn’t mean you aren’t being actively recruited. Many have Duell on their boards, we have him ranked as the fourth-best OL in his class, top 50 prospect. My evaluation being dead on, with Kent State coming through Coach Stevens’ program to offer the 6’6 offensive linemen. This serving as the young man’s second D1 scholly opportunity. More are in-line, kid is a no-brainer in my opinion. Duell has been active on the recruiting trail, visiting Va Tech, Syracuse, and Notre Dame within the last month or so.

‘s film is unbelievable. Watching him play left tackle as a sophomore he looks like a Senior. He has great size standing 6’6″ inches tall. He has good stance, start and fundamentals. He explodes off the ball and is physical right off the snap. Duell is especially nasty in the run game the way he gets off the ball and blocks defensive lineman. In the passing game he moves his feet well, in pass protection. Duell is total package at offensive tackle. He recently visited James Madison, Virginia, and Virginia Tech. I expect he will get more opportunities to play College Football in the coming years.
