A walk-up I recommended to participate. Has attended our camps in the past, I’ve been pounding the table for Wharton since his sophomore year. Bit surreal to see him work up close as a senior now. Was the consensus pick for the best performance among QBs. Had the camp buzzing a bit, a lot of “who’s this” comments, despite my consistent clamoring in the young man’s favor. Smooth operator as usual. An experienced and seasoned passer whose performance was a pleasure to watch on Friday night.
Highlights
Imhotep’s Joe McLeish Joe McLeish 6’1″ | 160 lbs | QB Imhotep Charter | 2027 State PA was named one of five top-performing QBs. Exemplary mechanics, was this year’s freshman eye-popper. Had the camp buzzing with how impressive he looked throughout drills, especially after I mentioned to coaches that he had just finished his first year of HS ball. Beat out Sprankle and Corkery by a hair. Great to see others gawk over arguably the best freshman passer in the state. His ranking will be updated soon.
Running Backs Selections
I’ll dive deeper into his performance in a later article. Nazareth’s Marquez Wimberly Marquez Wimberly 5’9″ | 185 lbs | ATH Nazareth | 2026 State PA worked through indi’s and 1v1s with ease. Wasn’t his first camp, but without a doubt his best performance compared to those around him. The best back in attendance, likely a top-five DB too had he had more opportunities.
Highlights
James Fisher wasn’t announced as a top performer at the camp, which was an error on our part as well as the coaches in attendance. Numbers and words get mixed up towards the end of these events, I had my fair share of looks at the backs, Fisher was moving just as well as Wimberly. 9’0″ broad jump, 4.78 40, a solid number, one I know he can improve on. Glad the young man came through.
What a performance out of Holman during the testing portion of our camp. Two 4.6 40 times, practically the fastest prospect in camp, That alone propels him to this spot. I’ll dive a bit deeper
Highlights
Wide Receivers Selections
Dominant performance. Accelerated and tracked the football with ease. Best wideout present, we’ll see if we can get him back into the top 75 in the future.
Love how Newsome tested in this one. 4.57 40, 4.6 shuttle, 9’2 broad, on top of wowing coaches during Indis and 1v1s. Newsome and Young know how these camps go, they showed up to impress, that he did. More on his performance in a later piece.
Quite the two months for Jasper Shepps Jasper Shepps 6’1″ | 180 lbs | ATH Juniata | 2026 State PA on our site. Recently ranked inside the top 100, tough to do when debuting on our site. Next, the Juniata sophomore shows up to camp and earns 1st-Team All-Camp honors. His stock couldn’t be higher right now. More coming later in the week.
Highlights
I can’t wait to update this young man’s ranking. I’m more excited to see him work at Imani Christian next Fall if I’m being honest. The best mover in the camp, was absolutely electric, twitchy too. The toughest matchup at camp inside of 10 yards. Excited to dive further into his performance later.
Highlights
Tight Ends Selections
We don’t do TE MVPs or Top Performers usually. This TE crop forced our hand. Ryan Kerchner Ryan Kerchner 6’5″ | 240 lbs | TE Spring-Ford | 2026 State PA was unanimously named the TE MVP among coaches and writers present. Consistent, 9’4 broad at 240 pounds. Had all coaches drooling. Tough to beat out Ford and Gelatko.
Highlights
Kerchner narrowly beat out Jackson Ford based on 1v1s from what I’m told. That being said, I can’t overlook how well Jackson Ford looked during testing, both get the 1st-team nod. Sub 5.0 40, weighing in at 235, a real 6’5 too. Probably the best pair of TEs to come through our camp, outside of Chester’s Dominic Toy Dominic Toy 6’5″ | 225 lbs | TE Chester | 2024 State PA .

Offensive Line Selections
Tough to go elsewhere when choosing OL MVP. You’ve got me hooked as soon as I see a 325-pound lineman running a 5.4 40. This DL group was a historical one, so every OL is going to lose a rep here or there, Albright was consistent throughout. I’ll dive deeper later, but awesome to have this young man under the dome Friday night. Was a pleasure watching him perform.
I could make the case that Maines was the best OL during 1v1s. We like Albright overall, but during 1v1s, Carl Frederick and I agree that not many were better than Maines during the last hour of the camp. Much like Albright, Maines also ran a sub 5.5. 40.
Highlights
I’d call Blaker the surprise of the group, yet I’ve gone on record saying this kid has the potential to be great moving forward. Hell of a start to the year for the Penn Charter junior. He’s well on his way to earning a ranking on our site. He fit well alongside big names like Murphy, Hampe, and the Hollidaysburg duo. I’ll dive deeper later.
Highlights
Huge fan of Cam Murphy Cam Murphy 6’2″ | 270 lbs | OL Kiski Area | 2025 State PA the prospect, happy to hear that coaches in attendance loved what they saw as well. The young man exudes OL. Great build, especially for interior play. Great performance alone with great tape, easily one of the better OL prospects in the state. Stacking up against the DL group present on Friday night is an accomplishment in its own right. Excited to get him back up the rankings at some point.
Highlights
What you see is what you get with Kenny Hampe Kenny Hampe 6’3″ | 295 lbs | OL Muncy | 2025 State PA . Kid’s got a little edge to him, was showing off that edge during camp. Unanimously named a Top Performer, I’d give Hampe MVP consideration because of how consistent he was during 1v1s. Many coaches, to my surprise, didn’t know how special a player Hampe is on tape. Hampe was phenomenal all night long, yet nothing beats his stellar junior tape at Muncy HS. Happy to see him perform well. More coming later.
