QB’s
The junior quarterback had a historic season. Filardi broke the Long Island single season passing touchdown record with 44 TD’s in just 10 games this season. He threw for over 3,000 yards and also picked up over 1,000 yards and 10 scores on the ground. His mobility and improvisation skills are some of the best in New York, he is currently committed to Syracuse to play lacrosse.
Highlights
The Lock Haven bound senior had an incredible final ride with this explosive Smithtown West offense. Stahl was second on Long Island in passing yards with 2,556 yards and he also tossed 34 touchdowns. He was one of the most accurate signal callers on the island going 197/251 (78%) on the season.
RB’s
The Thorp award winner was a crucial piece to helping Garden City win their third straight Long Island championship. On just 79 carries, Berkery had 837 yards and 19 touchdowns. Most of the games Garden City played in were over by halftime, but Berkery shined on both sides of the ball as one of the top pure athletes on Long Island. He is committed to play lacrosse at Villanova.
The Bayport product was recognized as the top running back in Suffolk County and he was borderline unstoppable in the Phantoms undefeated title run. Aiello had 1,648 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns on the ground. His combination of speed and strength allowed him to dominate every time he stepped on the field. He will be playing lacrosse at Navy next fall.
There were multiple breakout prospects in the 2025 class on Long Island, and Jawara Keahey Jawara Keahey 5’9″ | 155 lbs | RB North Babylon | 2025 NY was one of the main players to make a statement. Keahey led the island in rushing with a monstrous 2,609 yards on the ground and 37 touchdowns. He was the definition of a workhorse for a run heavy North Babylon offense. Keahey has great vision and is one of the most elusive athletes in New York.
Highlights
Another 2025 prospect that put himself in the conversation with some of the top players in the state. Villalta is a pure game changer and he was electrifying during the Chiefs undefeated championship run. He registered 1,340 and 25 touchdowns during his junior season. His breakaway speed and ability to make people miss is as entertaining as it gets.
WR’s
A historic season for the senior, as Melore broke the Long Island career reception record with 158 catches. Almost all of those were in just two seasons. Melore consistently beat double teams and made plays when it mattered most. He broke the single game reception record with 17 in a wild 70-68 playoff loss to Hills West.
Highlights
Along with his quarterback, Raio put together a record breaking season. He broke the single season reception record with 84 catches in just 10 games. He led Long Island with 1,381 receiving yards and the North Carolina lacrosse commit is hands down one of the top athletes in New York. Raio also made some incredible plays at defensive back.
It’s another Hills West receiver on this list, as Jesse Brooks Jesse Brooks 6’2″ | 165 lbs | WR Half Hollow Hills West | 2025 State NY led Long Island with 20 touchdown receptions. Brooks is a smooth route runner with breakaway speed. He was the ultimate deep threat that gave defenses big issues. Brooks is one of the top 2025 receivers in the state and was another great two-way player for the Colts.
Highlights
Sachem East surprised a lot of people this season and a big reason why was the play of Mikey “Rockstar” Reilly. At just 5’8 and 145 pounds, Reilly was one of the most entertaining players in Suffolk County. He turned 25 catches into 632 yards and 12 touchdowns. He made a number of key plays in big moments to help guide his team to success.
Highlights
ATH’s
Arguably the top 2026 prospect out of any public school on Long Island. Winter had a fantastic sophomore campaign as Mr.Everything for Babylon during this season. He was second on Long Island with 1,875 rushing yards as a quarterback. Winter was also everywhere on defense and was easily one of the top players in the county as just a sophomore.
Highlights
Futter was one of the senior leaders for this Hills East squad, and he impacted the game in so many ways. He was one of the top receivers and kickers in all of Suffolk County. He was perfect on every kick he attempted, and he hauled in 35 catches for 878 yards and 8 touchdowns.
A Hansen award finalist, Carpinello was a game changer for a West Islip team that made a county title appearance. He ran for 1,434 and 19 touchdowns. He was a threat as both a runner and a receiver and he had some of his best performances in two instant classic games where they faced off against Hills East. Carpinello was also a great contributor on defense.
OL
The Colgate bound senior was one of the top lineman in the state. He followed up his outstanding summer with an amazing senior year. Galindo was outstanding on both sides of the ball. He was always reliable as a run blocker and a pass blocker. Galindo played a huge role in South Side’s county title.
Highlights
The Martone award winner (given to Nassau County’s top lineman) was as advertised all year long. His strength was something special and he moved extremely well at 315 pounds. He was a pancake machine on offense, but what he did on defense helped change games this season. Petzold received a D1 offer from Wagner after a terrific final season with Plainedge.
The four year starter was the leader for a very talented Massapequa offensive line. Kovaluskie had a tremendous performance against a mighty William Floyd defensive line where he paved holes and helped Massapequa run away with a Long Island championship. He was quick, fundamentally sound and excellent at blocking in space all year.
It was pancake city when Bachmore was blocking for this Bayport run attack. He was overpowering almost everyone he went against all year long. He had a breakout junior season and was one of those 2025’s that put themselves in the conversation with the best. He was a finalist to be named Suffolk County’s top lineman as a junior.

Jack O’Neil
He might not be the biggest lineman on this list, but O’Neil was the top player on a Garden City team that dominated up front during every single one of their games. He made up for his size with elite athleticism and he had no issues with blocking bigger players during his great senior season.
