Brayden Stahl Brayden Stahl 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Smithtown West | 2024 State NY has long been one of the most dominant Quarterbacks on Long Island and Lock Haven will be getting one of the Islands top producers over multiple seasons. Just this past fall, Stahl eclipsed 2,500 passing yards with 34TDs and a level of efficiency not often seen at the High School level. Stahl has really good footwork and consistently works in rhythm. On tape he shows that he has a great feel for the pocket and is one of the best quarterbacks in the state when it comes to making small adjustments in the pocket, resetting his base, and delivering accurate throws at all three levels of the field. Lock Haven will be getting a quarterback who shows accuracy at all three levels and plays with the type of patience and confidence that is necessary for success at the next level.

The Lock Haven bound senior had an incredible final ride with this explosive Smithtown West offense. Stahl was second on Long Island in passing yards with 2,556 yards and he also tossed 34 touchdowns. He was one of the most accurate signal callers on the island going 197/251 (78%) on the season.

An easy Pre Season All Long Island selection here. Stahl was one of the most impressive quarterbacks I saw all summer. He’s in a system where he will be throwing the ball a lot and he should have another great statistical season. He’s a terrific leader and an accurate quarterback. Stahl has a great WR core to work with, and I’m expecting this Bulls offense to be one of the best on Long Island.

One of the favorites in this contest lived up to the hype. Stahl won the accuracy award for the second straight year. He was zipping the ball into tight windows and the chemistry with his receivers Jack Melore Jack Melore 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Smithtown West | 2024 State NY and Nick Briffa was amazing. Stahl ended up finishing second overall in the competition as he was right there in the running for the title. He was phenomenal in the mobility drill and the anticipation drill. Stahl also was very accurate in the cover 2 hole drill and he had low trajectory in his throws which was a main point in this drill. His ball placement was second to none at this challenge and its safe to say he’s gonna be completing a lot of passes this season.

Fresh off of receiving his first offer from Lockhaven University, Stahl has found his groove all summer. He looked amazing at a Prep Redzone event in May and he’s continued to impress at 7v7’s and the Downstate Classic. He put up ridiculous numbers during his junior year, Stahl threw for over 2,600 yards and 30 touchdowns last season. In this competition last year, he won the accuracy competition due to his amazing ball placement. Stahl is in a pass heavy offense with great receivers, he’ll be a boomer award candidate and potentially a Hansen award candidate as well.

The quarterback from Smithtown West continues to have a great summer. He looked like the most consistent quarterback in a loaded Pod 1. Stahl made every throw you asked him too and his timing was on point throughout the event. His accuracy on every type of throw was incredible and he made a case as the top quarterback at the event. In a rep heavy environment, Stahl’s leadership was on display and he took command every time he was out there, which was similar to how he acted in his team 7v7’s.

After balling out at the PRZ showcase the day before, Stahl played well the following day during these 7v7’s. It’s no secret by now that he has one of the best arms in the tri state area. At times, he and Jack Melore Jack Melore 6'1" | 185 lbs | WR Smithtown West | 2024 State NY looked unstoppable together. He plays with some real confidence and he strung together a bunch of really nice throws on the day. He’s the clear leader for a Smithtown West team that has so much potential.

There were several good quarterbacks on the day, none were able to spin it like Stahl. A unanimous decision for MVP by multiple coaches who worked with QBs and WRs Stahl was on point throughout the day. Really good velocity on his balls, worked in good rhythm in 1v1s and had really solid ball placement throughout the day. A really solid performance for Stahl who is a name to watch this fall in New York.
