Winter has been named All-State in three straight years. The 6’0″ 185 pound RB can play across the field at multiple positions. He projects as a RB.
He has a solid frame for the RB position. On tape he plays multiple positions and has highlights in each aspect. He is a shifty playmaker who has a solid blend of speed and IQ. He is incredibly tough to tackle and hard to game plan for.
He holds offers from Maine and Wagner for good reason as he is an impressive player to watch on the field.

It’s pretty rare for a Class of 2026 prospect to be named All-State three times already, but Winter has accomplished that. He’s a true hometown hero. Babylon is one of the smallest schools on the Island, but Winter has led them to success and has been a monster all over the field. Last year, he had over 2,000 all-purpose yards and 20 touchdowns. He’s also the school’s all-time leading rusher with 4,218 yards. Winter can play everywhere—QB, RB, WR, DB, LB—you name it, he can do it. He’s a phenomenal athlete and currently holds offers from Maine and Wagner. Now at 200 pounds, he has good size and the ability to impact the game in so many ways.

Winter played SAF for 3rd and Ten and a two-way player in the fall Winter is one of the more versatile athletes from Long Island in the 2026 class with the ability to have an impact at multiple positions.
After seeing him work at SAF in 7v7, that may be the position I like him most. He has a good physique, and his short-area quickness stood out at times when he would break on balls in zone coverage.
The 3rd and Ten defense did not create many turnovers, but they were excellent in coverage, and Winter and Moore’s safety play was a huge factor in that.

Winter out of Babylon is a good case of a team asking their best athlete to do almost everything on the field; with tons of varsity experience, Winter has the most film of anyone on this list.
Winter can play a couple of offensive positions in college or even do work as a safety; the way he is used at Babylon showcases his ability with the ball in his hands where he shows great contact balance and a high-motor physical running style.

did everything. Now he’s on a 7v7 team with some of the Island’s top players and he is still playing almost everywhere and making plays. Winter is a leader on this 3rd and Ten team and has proven to be a natural playmaker. He has played everywhere on defense. He did special things on offense during his sophomore campaign and there’s been plenty of flashes of that in the 7v7 circuit. Winter is an excellent running back and wide receiver and if his team ever needs it he will play quarterback.

Arguably the top 2026 prospect out of any public school on Long Island. Winter had a fantastic sophomore campaign as Mr.Everything for Babylon during this season. He was second on Long Island with 1,875 rushing yards as a quarterback. Winter was also everywhere on defense and was easily one of the top players in the county as just a sophomore.

stealing the show. Breaking a school record with 329 rushing yards as he helped Babylon to a 5-0 record and a road win over Center Moriches. Winter has developed that “it” factor. He’s been on varsity since the 8th grade and he has that big game mentality. Winter runs with a purpose to move the chains and he has the speed to break big ones. We saw both of those traits on display. Winter hits the hole hard and displays amazing vision when following his blockers. Winter has nifty moves in the open field and he utilized them when juking past defenders and accelerating for big gains. Most of these plays were designed QB runs with the defense stacking the box and it simply didn’t matter. He continued to move the chains and he proved he was the best athlete on the field.

The only 2026 to make either preseason all long island public school team. Winter has been on varsity since the 8th grade, and he makes a huge impact for Babylon. Last year he played everything, he displayed his abilities at QB, RB, LB, DB and he excelled. This year he is the starting quarterback and he’s one of the top dual threat QBs along with being one of the top safeties this season in Suffolk County

The 2026 ATH, will make an argument as one of Suffolk County’s most exciting players this upcoming season. Winter has the ability to do it all for the Panthers. We’ll start off with what he can do on offense. Winter can play either quarterback, running back or be a terrific receiving option. He’s a tough runner who hits the hole very hard. He wasn’t easy to stop during his QB runs because he showed he can burn defenses with his arm as well. The physicality he played with during his freshman year was rare for someone his age. He delivered big hits and gained a ton of yards after contact. The versatility he has is truly sensational. On defense you can expect him to be one of Suffolk’s top linebackers after his 80 tackle freshman year performance

One of the best freshmen on Long Island last year, and he had a day at the Suffolk County showcase. He is a guy who brings the juice every time he is out there. He blew by defenders and he was easily one of the best players on the 2025/2026 side of the field. His quickness and change of direction gave defenders a hard time and he dominated almost all of his reps. He also had great coverage when he played defense, it’s no surprise that he’s one of the top 2026 players in the state.
