PRZNY Team Previews: Maryvale Flyers

Maryvale lost 4 of their first six games and although they would win their final two regular season games against division opponents, the damage was already done. He did make his varsity debut last season but didn't see significant playing time until the latter part of the year. He is a dual threat QB that can also be an exceptional Safety. After three weeks of favorable opponents, the Flyers will take to the road and face a talented Williamsville South team and a squad that is new to Class B, McKinley.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Each year I predict that Maryvale will be in contention for the Class B title but a string of unfortunate ci0rcumstances have dashed their shot. After being so focused on the run the last few years, I hope to see Maryvale open up the passing game. I think they have the tools to do so effectively. This is a team with a seasoned coaching staff and no shortage of talent. As long as the injury bug does not come after them, the Flyers could surprise a lot of people this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
