For the second straight year, I am pegging Finnegan as the breakout player of the year. He did make his varsity debut last season but didn’t see significant playing time until the latter part of the year. He is a dual threat QB that can also be an exceptional Safety. He is tough and not one to avoid contact.

Although Maryvale couldn’t get their offense going in this game, Finnegan stood out as a player that will be involved. Only in is sophomore season, Connor made his varsity debut this year. He is an exceptional athlete that can run, catch and do whatever is needed. From watching his freshman tape on JV last year and what is missing from the Flyers offense this year, they may turn to Connor as their QB at some point this season.

Finnegan is set to make his varsity debut as a sophomore. His JV tape from 2024 was exceptional and he looks to make an impact right away. Connor can beat teams with his legs as well as his arm and may also see time at Safety.

Finnegan is dual threat QB that is also expected to get reps at Safety, where he is exceptional. Connor is a tough player that isn’t afraid to put his head down and get extra yards. This is a player I am excited to see transition to varsity.
