Beau is an extraordinary athlete on a team that isn’t known for their top-tier prospects. He’s a true “ATH” as he has tape playing as a receiver, running back, and defensive back. He also played on varsity this past season. On the offensive side of the ball, I love how Beau is able to keep his legs moving through contact despite his small size. He’s also decently explosive once he gets the ball, and his top speed is great for a freshman. As a receiver, he’s able to come down with challenging catches and his routes look solid. As a DB, I think he could react quicker at times but his ability to make plays on the man or ball and force incompletions is great. Once Beau knows where he wants to go, he has the athleticism to get to his spot and make a play. Beau has all the potential in the world and I hope to see him consistently improve over the next few years. If he does, we could be looking at a Division 1 prospect.

Dallas is another athlete who played very well on Varsity this past season. As a running back, he’s shown flashes of very impressive vision and athleticism. He’s able to break some good runs due to vision and being a little shifty. He’s nowhere close to some of the best RBs in the state yet, but with work that’s his potential. His tape at DB is even better. Like a lot of Caledonia DBs, Dallas shows a lot of smart, aggressive play. You can tell that he plays with confidence on that side of the ball, knows exactly what his job is, and executes well. Dallas also defends the run pretty well. This is a young prospect that does a lot of things right, but he doesn’t currently do anything at an elite level. The foundation is there though, and I am confident he’ll play a much bigger role in this Cal team next Fall.
Giancarlo has a ton of great effort and instinctual play on both sides of the ball. His biggest flaw at this moment is that he’s undersized, but that should be solved with experience and age. Offensively, he’s tough to bring down as a runner and fights for extra yards. As a defensive back, he flies to the football, does an excellent job at stopping the run, and has shown flashes in pass defense. He has a great example of how to become an elite prospect with his brother Marcello, so I am confident that Giancarlo will develop well. I’m not sure if he has that tier-1 Power 5 talent, but that’s perfectly okay. Whatever happens, I am confident he’s going to be an excellent high school football player.
Lundon came on my radar during the Division 7 State Championship game. Honestly, he was one of Lumen Christi’s best defensive players. Look at his second highlight below. I remember being in the press booth watching him (#4) that entire play. The effort he showed there and in several other plays is sensational. He was only in the game for about half of the defensive snaps, but he was a huge standout there. He already has some Division 1 attention and I do expect those offers to hold up throughout his high school career.
Tyler shows a ton of potential, especially defensively. The thing I love most about his film is his effort. Every highlight you’ll see below shows a sensational amount of effort, whether that is reacting fast to stop the run or flying to the ball to make a difficult interception. He should be a great player in the OK Conference for years to come.

Lastly, we have Cullen, who is a super twitchy athlete from North Muskegon. Playing on Varsity, Cullen excelled as being a pass catcher out of the backfield. When he was given room to run, he would oftentimes juke a few guys before being brought down. There’s no doubt that his athletic foundation is amazing. As a defender, he’s quick to react to the run and isn’t afraid to get physical with his tackles. With a few years of continually working on his speed, explosiveness, etc, he could be a phenomenal prospect.
