Beau is back! Love seeing Beau back on the field after injury sidelined him for the entire 2024 season.
His week 1 tape against West Catholic begins with a massive 3rd down stop. Just about the entire defense goes after the RB, but Beau wasn’t fooled, and he makes an excellent solo tackle. Next, another run stop. This time, Beau attacks the slow-developing play, shoots the gap, and makes another great solo tackle.
The rest of Beau’s tape shows a couple of carries and a few more tackles mixed in. I’m extremely impressed with how Beau attacks the run, especially because he’s playing safety.

This could very well be Beau’s breakout year. He’s been sidelined for quite a while after suffering an extremely severe knee injury.
So, my expectations are honestly a bit tempered. Beau’s injury is not an easy one to come back from, and I have not watched Beau compete since it occurred. What I do know is that when Beau is at 100%, he has incredibly high upside. A couple years ago, he was (literally) turning heads at our Prep Redzone Camp. Explosive, great ball skills, and a near-elite route runner.
I’m happy to see Beau attending workouts again and getting after it. Beau deserves a fulfilling season after being sidelined for a while, and I beleive Beau will have a fulfilling year.

I haven’t talked about Beau in quite a while. A year ago, he was someone I was constantly pounding the table for.
Beau is still someone I am really, really rooting for. I just don’t know how he’s going to look after recovering from his severe knee injury. So, because of that, he’s on the watch list for now.
At his best, Beau is an explosive slot receiver with excellent hands. Really good release, great routes, and explosive enough to earn separation against most DBs. Beau is hypothetically still a D2-ceiling guy, but again, I’m waiting to see him back in action.

Beau is a hidden gem who will make his name known this season. Over the past year, I’ve seen Beau a few times in person, acquired testing numbers, and gained some outside opinion. At the Prep Redzone Combine Series back in April, Beau stood out. Playing receiver, I was highly impressed with Beau’s route-running, athleticism, and hands. Beau also plays DB, and I’m confident he’ll be able to cover just about any receiver in the River Cities Alliance. If Beau can continuously improve over the next few years, he will be a Division 1 prospect. Even if he doesn’t improve much, Beau should be a GLIAC prospect. It’s been a good offseason for Beau, and I can’t wait to see how he’s utilized on both sides of the ball this coming season.

Beau is an extraordinary athlete on a team that isn’t known for their top-tier prospects. He’s a true “ATH” as he has tape playing as a receiver, running back, and defensive back. He also played on varsity this past season. On the offensive side of the ball, I love how Beau is able to keep his legs moving through contact despite his small size. He’s also decently explosive once he gets the ball, and his top speed is great for a freshman. As a receiver, he’s able to come down with challenging catches and his routes look solid. As a DB, I think he could react quicker at times but his ability to make plays on the man or ball and force incompletions is great. Once Beau knows where he wants to go, he has the athleticism to get to his spot and make a play. Beau has all the potential in the world and I hope to see him consistently improve over the next few years. If he does, we could be looking at a Division 1 prospect.
