Class I
Massapequa cruised past William Floyd 35-7. It was a game the Chiefs dominated and here are the standout players from the Long Island title game
Joey Diesso Joey Diesso QB Massapequa | 2025 NY
Joey Diesso Joey Diesso QB Massapequa | 2025 NY
All season long Joey Diesso Joey Diesso QB Massapequa | 2025 NY has stepped up to the plate after replacing injured senior quarterback Paul Dulanto Paul Dulanto QB Massapequa | 2024 State NY . And on the big stage Diesso had another huge game. He completed 11 of 15 passes for 146 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also added a 14 yard rushing touchdown where he showed off the speed to get the edge and dive into the endzone. That quarterback keeper had the Cheifs up 21-0 early over Floyd and Massapequa never looked back. Diesso isn’t the biggest QB, but he’s one of the smartest and helped flow this Chiefs offense to a special performance.
Tyler Villalta Tyler Villalta 5'11" | 170 lbs | RB Massapequa | 2025 NY
Tyler Villalta Tyler Villalta 5'11" | 170 lbs | RB Massapequa | 2025 NY
There is no doubt that the Massapequa native has proven to be one of Long Island’s top overall players and one of the best running backs in New York. In this game against a talented Floyd defense, Villalta had a number of amazing plays. In the first quarter, he caught a short pass and made some incredible moves in the open field for a touchdown. Villalta showed off his ankle breaking moves against two Floyd defenders that are All County/All Long Island caliber players. His quickness and explosiveness helped him be a monster in the LIC.
Ryan Kuarowski
Ryan Kuarowski
This Massapequa defense was impressive all season long. Kuarowski saved his best for last in the Chiefs big victory over William Floyd. In the second quarter Kuarowski had a big interception to make this Floyd offense even more uncomfortable. Kuarowski was able to fly to the ball and come away with the pick. After he got the interception he blazed down field and had a big return to set up Massapequa deep in the red zone. He also got in on a bunch of tackles, always being around the ball and had a pass breakup.
Class II
The streak continues. Garden City wins their 42nd straight game and 3rd straight Long Island Championship. They dominated North Babylon in every factor of the game 38-7. Here were the top players from the Trojans win.
Blake Cascadden Blake Cascadden 6'1" | 185 lbs | DL Garden City | 2025 NY
Blake Cascadden Blake Cascadden 6'1" | 185 lbs | DL Garden City | 2025 NY
When Garden City’s rushing leader Michael Berkery Michael Berkery 5’11” | 170 lbs | ATH Garden City | 2025 NY went down with an injury in the county final, some people had some doubts for this Trojans offense. But another star within Blake Cascadden Blake Cascadden 6’1″ | 185 lbs | DL Garden City | 2025 NY stepped up big time. Cascadden had a monster game on both sides of the ball. Offensively he’s been great at WR, but this game he was a monster on the ground. 13 carries for 144 yards which included 2 long touchdowns where he showed off his breakaway speed. His first step and acceleration helped him own the edge on defense in this game. The junior Cascadden will be one of Nassau County’s top players next season.
His future will be in college lacrosse, but don’t be surprised if Considine ever decides to play football at Holy Cross. He had good size and a knack to be in the opposition’s backfield. North Babylon provided a run attack that averaged over 400 yards per game and has been borderline unstoppable all season long. Considine consistently found his way to the ball carrier. He’s been the leader of this team all year and he had another big game. Hisoverall athleticism and tackling ability was too much for the Bulldogs to handle. Considine also had a rushing touchdown on offense. And to top it all off, he was playing this game pretty banged up.
Jack O’Neill
Jack O’Neill
Another Trojan defensive lineman who has been great all year. Jack O’Neil was dominating Nassau competition but he showed how well he could stack up against a high powered North Babylon team. The smash mouth style of football didn’t bother him, as O’Neil got off blocks so quickly and was able to wrap the ball carrier consistently. He was a big reason why Garden City owned the line of scrimmage.
Class III
The most thrilling game of the 4 contests. East Islip and South Side went down to the wire and the Redman came out on top 19-14. This game featured a battle of the best senior lineman on Long Island going head to head, as well as a one of the Islands best receivers having a huge game. Read below
The top senior defensive lineman continued to show why he’s a special player. He ended his amazing high school career with a Long Island title and a very good performance in the LIC. He totaled 7 tackles, 2 TFL’s and a sack. He went to war with Bobby Galindo Bobby Galindo 6’3″ | 295 lbs | OL South Side | 2024 State NY in a battle of amazing lineman. Both of them had their moments throughout the championship game, Regis showed his strength could easily match up with high level lineman with prototype D1 size. He did it over the summer but we really got to see it in this South Side matchup. Regis is a big game player, and he made play after play to help his team win this game. As a defensive lineman, he is a Hansen award contender.

Matthew Mcintee
Matthew Mcintee
The senior playmaker for the Redman capped off a special postseason with a memorable championship performance. He had 7 grabs for 156 yards and two touchdowns. On his first score, he proved the dynamic red zone threat that he is. Mcintee had a great release and created enough separation where he was able to come away with a catch in the corner of the endzone. And then he had the game winner where he made a contested catch over the middle and just got into the endzone. Mcintee was so efficient that South Side had to shadow him with their top DB, but it didn’t matter. Mcintee had an enormous game for the Redman.
The most dominant lineman in Nassau County left it all out on the field for his final game despite losing the Long Island Championship. The Colgate bound senior was a monster on both sides of the ball. He had a fun battle with Sebastian Regis Sebastian Regis 6’1″ | 280 lbs | DL East Islip | 2024 State NY all throughout this game and they both showed why they are the best on Long Island. Galindo made a number of tackles on defense, but on offense is where the big man thrived. He paved a huge hole up the middle, where his running back Justin Singh would burst through it for the Cyclones first touchdown of the game.

Bayport-Blue Point won their 2nd straight Long Island Championship by defeating Seaford. This special senior class guided the Phantoms to a dominant victory. Read about these three elite prospects below
The legendary football career has come to an end for Danny Aiello but I’m not sure he could’ve gone out any better. The Navy lacrosse commit proved once again that he was the best athlete on the field and it wasn’t close. He had an 82 yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter to set the tone. He ended the game with 233 yards rushing and 3 TD’s on just 19 carries. His strength and speed were too much for the Vikings on offense. He also had a huge interception, broke up passes and was a tackling machine on defense.
Seaford hasn’t faced a receiver like Luce yet and they weren’t able to match up in the red zone. At 6’4 and easily over 200 pounds, Luce is one of the best pure athletes on Long Island. He blew by the defensive back in the first quarter where he tracked the ball well in the corner of the endzone and came down with the first score of the game. Later in the contest, Luce won a jump ball as he made a contested catch right over his defenders head on the goalline for another score. He will go down as one of the top receivers we’ve seen in conference 4 football in a long time.
Like the other Bayport players I mentioned, Spano could start on any team on Long Island and he had another dominating performance in a Long Island Championship win. His combination of size and speed on the line was just too much for Seaford. He was getting around the edge with no issue and it seemed like he was always in the quarterback’s face. His pass rushing was impressive and Spano’s tackling ability is some of the best in Suffolk County.
