It's Thanksgiving week and a lot of the attention this week is on the larger classes as they are in the semifinal round. For Classes 2A, A and B, they are into the quarterfinal round. And we're taking an in-depth look at every single quarterfinal match-up to give you a complete breakdown heading into the games on Friday. In this post, we're putting the spotlight on Class 2A. The top six teams in our Class 2A rankings are all still alive and we have some heavyweight match-ups taking place.

#2 MILLWOOD (11-1) VS #4 IDABEL (11-0)
Friday - 1PM - East Central Univ.

It's only the quarterfinal round but Friday's match-up of #2 Millwood and #4 Idabel certainly feels like one we could have seen in the semifinals or even the championship game. #2 Millwood has won 11 straight games and they have one of the best junior prospects in the state with OU commit [player_tooltip player_id='347111' first='Jaden' last='Nickens'] at the wide receiver position. #4 Idabel isn't lacking talent in that class either and [player_tooltip player_id='479389' first='Matrail' last='Lopez'] has been one of the more versatile playmakers in Class 2A this season. The Falcons are hungry to make it back to Edmond after settling for the silver ball last year. Idabel is in the middle of the best season in recent memory. Unfortunately, someone's season comes to an end on Friday afternoon but it could be an instant classic.

ALVA (7-5) VS #5 KIEFER (12-0)
Friday - 1PM - Kingfisher HS.

#5 Kiefer looks to keep their unbeaten season together as they face underdog Alva with a spot in the semifinals on the line. This is a match-up of two teams that have had two very different paths to Friday's semifinal clash. The Trojans have been a top ten team all season and have one of the more balanced offenses in the state. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='898373' first='Jaxon' last='Worley'] has been outstanding and he's not alone for the Trojans on either side of the ball. For Alva, this is a team that was 5-5 at the end of the regular season and finished as the 3-seed out of their district. They found a way to pull off wins on the road in the first two rounds and now they are one win away from another upset and a trip to the semifinals next week.

#3 JONES (10-2) VS #6 VICTORY CHRISTIAN (9-3)
Friday - 1PM - Bristow HS.

Another marquee quarterfinal match-up takes place in Bristow at 1PM as #3 Jones will square off with #6 Victory Christian. This game is very similar to the Idabel-Millwood match-up where this is a semifinal or even a championship game in most seasons. All eyes are going to be on the quarterback position in this one and especially at UCO. Both quarterbacks are UCO commits. Victory Christian senior [player_tooltip player_id='897801' first='Ayden' last='Hamilton'] has been one of the best players in the state of Oklahoma this season. He has over 2,000 passing yards and over 2,000 yards on the ground and that's an incredibly rare stat to accomplish. Jones senior [player_tooltip player_id='215199' first='Clayton' last='Creasey'] has continued the tradition of Jones having one of the best quarterbacks in the state.

#1 WASHINGTON (12-0) VS VIAN (8-4)
Friday - 7PM - East Central Univ.

We mentioned before the season that top-ranked Washington and Vian might see each other twice this season. The first match-up came back in week zero and it was a 55-13 blowout victory for the defending champion Warriors. The Wolverines have rallied after back to back losses to close out the regular season. They have been dominant in the playoffs and super sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] was lights out for Vian last week in the second round. Washington junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='311986' first='Hudson' last='Howard'] is now looking to put up monster numbers against the Warriors for the second time this season. He went to work back in week zero and was one of the best players in the state that week. Washington looks to win their 28th consecutive game.
