I made sure to dedicate plenty of time to run over to the field the OL were working on and take in a lot of their positional and one on one work. I'm glad I did because this group was off the charts deep. I have 20 OL in this article that proved they have the talent and traits to be college athletes. Kene is very light on his feet and it allows him to get out of his stance, get to the second level, or mirror pass rushers easily. At the same time, his hands and upper body overall pack a big punch. He is able to clamp on, control, and drive defensive linemen off the ball in the run game, and his initial punch gives him a big advantage in pass protection. His feet also allowed him to mirror DEs quickly while maintaining a wide, strong base. It was also good to see that Kern is developing the strength needed for the position. His anchor allowed him to not lose ground against power and was able to steer his opponent. Striking the DE in the chest with strong hands. The best is yet to come with Sebastian. His range is very strong. His feet are quick, and his body control is solid. The footwork and body control are what I got to see live. Kameron is able to easily get to the depth he needs and change direction in his pass set quickly while maintaining good technique. Especially with his upper body. He trusts his feet to get him where he needs to be, and doesn't reach. When the lights are bright Jack steps up. The center is a quick and agile prospect. He bursts out of his stance and gets himself in position on his man in the run game. He has the quick feet to move laterally with his man once he clamps onto them in pass protection. He demonstrated the footwork to be able to move laterally so he can stay square on his man while setting and holding his anchor. The mauling IOL turned his great day into multiple offers from the D2 and D3 levels. Noah's body control at his size is also college level quality. Whether engaging level one or attacking level two, Noah doesn't get caught reaching and you don't see him getting off balance. He stays square and maintains his technique from snap to whistle. Draeger has piled up a few offers since the camp. Connor is blessed with impressive burst off the line. He closes the gap quickly, leaving little time for the second level to make him miss. The '24 knows how to finish his blocks too. Kluck has received offers from the a good chunk of the NSIC among others. He has light feet and patience to pull and trap or pull and lead up to the second level. Branden also naturally transitions his range into power at the point of contact that gets movement the way he wants it. At the camp I got to see him pass protect. It was great to see him naturally and easily slide and have the strength to not lose any ground while engaged. Dreher has the strength needed to hold the interior of the pocket against IDL. The '24 also uses his hands very well. They consistently landed punches right on the chest of his man, and they stayed active as to not get pushed away. In pass protection, Noah is able to slide and use his length to make first contract. The big man also has the strength to dominate in the run game. Big things ahead for the Litchfield OT underclassman. Sam was able to slide and mirror in every direction and his change of direction looked easy for him. Ruid's reactive athleticism stood out from the crowd. He mirrored his opponents, used his length to get first contact, then overpowered them or ran them far past the QB. He could get deep into his pass set if needed or win at the line with lateral agility. Since the camp we have seen the rising OT earn offers from Oshkosh and River Falls. I'll be watching closely to see if the D2 level joins in the recruitment of Kulman. Watching through his tape you see how much of a bully he is in the trenches. He throws defensive linemen around the trenches opening up massive holes.
