The OL group brought us a ton of talent from the Dakotas to WI and beyond. I made sure to dedicate plenty of time to run over to the field the OL were working on and take in a lot of their positional and one on one work. I'm glad I did because this group was off the charts deep. I have 20 OL in this article that proved they have the talent and traits to be college athletes. Let's get the recap of this group started!

The 6'5u0022 266 lbs OL looks the part of a high level prospect. He has a massive, powerful upper body and an athletic lower body. That athletic lower body was impressive to see live. Kene is very light on his feet and it allows him to get out of his stance, get to the second level, or mirror pass rushers easily. At the same time, his hands and upper body overall pack a big punch. He is able to clamp on, control, and drive defensive linemen off the ball in the run game, and his initial punch gives him a big advantage in pass protection. Kene had a great day at the Mega Camp, and he has recently committed to Kansas after receiving an offer following the camp.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-648bc752529ce"} /-->

It was great to get eyes on him in person to see how he handled himself with a lot of different competition. Michael fit right in and stood out. His budding frame lived up to the hype as he checked in at 6'5u0022 240 lbs with long arms. Michael showed off quick feet that allowed him to get into his pass set efficiently. His feet also allowed him to mirror DEs quickly while maintaining a wide, strong base. It was also good to see that Kern is developing the strength needed for the position. His anchor allowed him to not lose ground against power and was able to steer his opponent. He has earned multiple offers from the D2/D3 levels since the camp.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-648bc75252a56"} /-->

Kohlman as a solid quick set that allows him to quickly set his anchor and use his strong upper body to punch and clamp onto his opponent. Ethan also showed off some quick feet that allowed him to make the lateral moves while mirroring his opponents. He will be a strong addition to the interior of a next level OL. His range is very strong. His feet are quick, and his body control is solid. The footwork and body control are what I got to see live. Kameron is able to easily get to the depth he needs and change direction in his pass set quickly while maintaining good technique. Especially with his upper body. He trusts his feet to get him where he needs to be, and doesn't reach. That has become less of a surprise the more I see Jackson. He has won an OL MVP at one of our PRZ WI Showcases, stood out when I attended one of his games last fall, and earned an offer from UW- River Falls following his camp performance. When the lights are bright Jack steps up. The center is a quick and agile prospect. He bursts out of his stance and gets himself in position on his man in the run game. It was also great to see him in person in the one on one battles. Henry is stout in pass protection. He can run them off the ball and his punch alone has shown to have the power to put kids on the ground. Draeger also shows on tape to have the range to get up to the LBs and land key blocks. Noah's body control at his size is also college level quality. Whether engaging level one or attacking level two, Noah doesn't get caught reaching and you don't see him getting off balance. Connor is 6'3u0022 285 lbs and is a bully along the interior of the OL. Connor's highlights show off his dominance in the run game. Once he gets his hands on his man there is no sign of being able to disengage. He runs them off the ball, and a lot of time he nearly runs them off the field. Connor is blessed with impressive burst off the line. He closes the gap quickly, leaving little time for the second level to make him miss. The '24 knows how to finish his blocks too. I went to the tape to get more familiar with his game. It was impressive to watch. Branden has the blend of power, athleticism, and balance that coaches look for along the interior of their offensive line. He has light feet and patience to pull and trap or pull and lead up to the second level. Branden also naturally transitions his range into power at the point of contact that gets movement the way he wants it. At the camp I got to see him pass protect. The 6' 273 lbs won snap after snap during the one on ones just like he did the first time I watched him. The compact IOL uses his frame to his advantage. He uses the natural leverage to his advantage. Alex also pairs the strength and stoutness to drop his anchor and stuff the DL in their tracks then run them back the way they came. Dreher has the strength needed to hold the interior of the pocket against IDL. The '24 also uses his hands very well. On tape his ability to get to the second level or reach DL looks easy for him. He already has the balance and body control to be able to move easily and change direction. The '25 is already massive at 6'4u0022 294 lbs, and he has the athletic traits needed to be an elite prospect. Sam had some of the best feet I saw. He was the definition of a dancing bear. Sam was able to slide and mirror in every direction and his change of direction looked easy for him. Ruid's reactive athleticism stood out from the crowd. Along with the frame to build on, Michael shows other traits that have great building blocks to continue to develop. He also has shown the range to make blocks anywhere in the box. Watching through his tape you see how much of a bully he is in the trenches. He throws defensive linemen around the trenches opening up massive holes. Grant also is able to wreck havoc as a DL as he fires through the OL. I see his future at OL where he can use his strength, athleticism, and agility to protect the edges. Get eyes on the '24 if you haven't already. I'm excited to get him in the rankings to see where he stacks up.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-648bc75252fdd"} /-->

The first being Week One of the 2022 season. The 6'3u0022 276 lbs OL has made strides since my first look. His performance earned him his first offer from the SMSU Mustangs. The '24 OT is one of the more technically sound prospects I have seen this summer. Kaden did a great job in person, and on tape, of keeping his base wide where he was able to maximize his strength. His hand placement is just as consistently solid. He keeps his elbows in and lands his strikes consistently and accurately. Check out the under the radar prospect.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-648bc7525301f"} /-->

Alton has seen his frame fill out great over the past year. He is now up to 6'7u0022 286 lbs. Since the camp we have seen Alton pick up several offers from the D2 and FCS levels. It easy to see what had the coaches so excited. Not only is Alton massive with all the length you could want, he is also an agile prospect. Between his length and movement skills, Alton is hard for edge rushers to get past. The '24 is also rangy. He can get out in space and run to lead downfield in screens. Williams is just beginning to tap into his potential too. He is one of the top OTs uncommitted here in WI.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-648bc7525305d"} /-->
