A name to know in the MN Class of 2025 is
Owen Krueger
Owen
Krueger
6'4" | 270 lbs | OL
Blooming Prairie | 2025
State
MN
. He is a powerful 6’4″ 268 lbs. His combo of tape and in person performance gives us a look at a very well rounded athlete. On tape, Owen proved to be an OG that can be a tone setter in the run game. His lower body maintains strong technique to drive defenders off the ball. He also has some range to his game to get to the LBs or to get out in space in the screen game. In person, Krueger impressed me with how smooth he was able to mirror pass rushers. He could get deep into his pass set if needed or win at the line with lateral agility. Make sure to have this kid on your radars.

Nearly 300 pounds and only a sophomore, Krueger comes off the line of scrimmage with a low pad level. He has excellent knee bend allowing him to come out of his stance with low hips. He does a good job flipping his hips to keep between the defender and the ball. Those low hips allow him to hold up well in pass protection and in space. As a guard, he has good quickness – allowing him to get to the second level and get outside on screens and sweeps. Assuming he gets stronger as he gets older, Krueger has a chance to be a top interior lineman in the state.

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossom sophomore has one particular rep on his sophomore film that I can’t get out of my head and that I mentioned in a previous writeup for PRzMN naming the 2025s Biggest Stock Risers from the newest update. In it, Krueger tosses a DL aside and takes off down the sideline as a lead blocker, looking much more like a fullback or tight end rather than a 6’4, 285 lb. lineman, sprinting downfield before he has to break down and take care of a DB in the open field. It’s a strong representation of his mobility and balance at his size, and additionally he’s one of the best finishers in the 2025 class of lineman right now, using his crushing punch, nonstop leg drive, and use of leverage to get opponents into the ground. Also looks great zone blocking in run and pass support and is a good athlete at the OL position that BP uses in a ton of different ways. Definite name to keep an eye on in the ’25 OL ranks and definitely shows D1 potential and upside as an OG.

Rose his stock from the watchlist to #24 overall!
Especially in regards to Outstate MN, the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms have a loaded 2025 batch of talent, along with arguably the best mascot name in the state. At 6’4, 285 lbs., Krueger has been on my radar since he was a freshman, but he took some big steps forward in 2022 as a sophomore playing on the OL for Blooming Prairie. There is one particular rep of him playing OG that I can’t get out of my head, where around :30 seconds into the sophomore film you see Krueger easily toss a DT aside and onto the ground, then take off downfield and lead block on a screen like a 6’4, 280 lb. fullback or TE before getting his hands on a frightened DB and shove him out of the way and out of the play. It was a strong display of mobility for the young bruiser, and in the rest of the tape you see a blocker with strong hands, violent leg drive, and a want and knack for finishing opponents into the ground. Krueger is definitely effective at it, and I also like what I see from him pulling and pass setting. There’s still some ways to go but it’s a more than solid foundation to start things off as a Top-25 ranked sophomore. Yet another exciting offensive linemen to keep track of!
