It was great to get some official measurements of the massive OT out of Sun Prairie East. Alton has seen his frame fill out great over the past year. He is now up to 6’7″ 286 lbs. Since the camp we have seen Alton pick up several offers from the D2 and FCS levels. It easy to see what had the coaches so excited. Not only is Alton massive with all the length you could want, he is also an agile prospect. Between his length and movement skills, Alton is hard for edge rushers to get past. The ’24 is also rangy. He can get out in space and run to lead downfield in screens. Williams is just beginning to tap into his potential too. He is one of the top OTs uncommitted here in WI.

A player who could really take off this summer and fall is Sun Prairie East OT Alton Williams Alton Williams 6'8" | 290 lbs | OL Sun Prairie East | 2024 State WI . He has the length and overall frame you dream of at 6’8″ 290 lbs, and he carries that 290 lbs so easily. The massive OT is also athletic. He is light on his feet, can change directions in his pass set to mirror pass rushers, and is consistent with his hand usage and placement. Alton also has shown off the range to get out in space to block or screens. The most exciting part is that I feel like there is a lot more strength that can be added to his game, and with more development of his footwork while run blocking we could see him really take his game to another level. I believe the Sun Prairie East LT is in the running for the next 2024 to receive his first D1 offer here in WI. The 6’8″ 265 lbs lineman is still growing into his frame and developing strength, so we aren’t close to seeing his full potential. What we have seen is an athlete with body control and solid flexibility to be able to slide laterally, run in the open field, or get up to LBs. Alton is also an OL who utilizes his length to his advantage. He consistently keeps his hands tight inside, and seems to always get first contact with his opponent. As his strength is further developed we will get to watch his performance and impact rocket upwards.

Rise: 72 up to 31rnAlton is set to breakout this fall once he earns a full time varsity position. He has elite size at 6’7″ 270 lbs and some RT and LT experience. It looks like he has been doing a solid job of maintaining his mobility and body control while growing that elite size. Next up for him is to prove that he has developed his whole game with a strong fall season. If he can do that you can expect the next level interest to be coming in heavily. With a  strong season you can expect another good jump in the rankings as well. Keep an eye on the big man.
