Stats: 4 Receptions, 152 Yards, 4 TDsrnConnor spent Level 1 doing his best 1998 Randy Moss Thanksgiving Day impression. The dominant senior WR took every catch to the house, and proved to be a legitimate mismatch, and next level talent. Connor dominated with speed, ball tracking downfield, and route running. At the break of the route Stauff is sudden and explosive. That consistently opens up huge separation for the QB to target. Connor is also able to easily maneuver himself and adjust to the flight of the ball downfield to be able to easily come down with it. Teams looking for a potential mismatch in the slot need to watch the tape.

Stats: 10 Receptions, 188 Yards, 3 TDsrnConnor started the season by showing that he can do a little bit of everything at a very high level. The senior has game changing speed to get deep and pull away after the catch. His quickness in and out of his breaks is a nightmare to try and play man against for DBs. Stauff even showed that he can win the 50/50 balls in traffic despite being 5’10”. The senior’s body control and balance allows him to run his routes without having to drastically change speed to make his breaks. The senior has a very well rounded skill set for the position.

Rankings Jump: 105 SpotsrnConnor has been curshing it this summer on the camp circuit and with his recruitment overall. He has clearly shown off his excellent route running abilities and footwork. It is impressive how quickly Connor can get in and out of his break. Watch the film and you will see him opening up big windows of separation. The SP East WR is so sudden too. He has the quick twitch needed to make DBs miss in space after the catch. Stauff also does a really good job of making the difficult catches in traffic or while have to jump or contort his body to make the grab. Connor is a natural athlete and receiver. That combo has earned him a lot of D2 options as well as a PWO from South Dakota.

Connor was by far the most versatile prospect I watched up at NDSU overall coming out of the morning session. Regardless of which side of the ball Connor played on, this kid showed off excellent ball instincts and had the agility to adjust to the ball promptly if it was off the line of his steps. He also showed off some great range for his size as a defensive back that looked like a sideline to sideline defensive back in my eyes at 5’10 180 pounds. He has seen his recruitment pick up swiftly, adding three NSIC offers from NDSU last Saturday and picking up a PWO from South Dakota prior to camp as well. Connor is a big Wisconsin stockriser from my alma mater, Sun Prairie East.

Stats: 5 Receptions, 87 Yards, 2 TDsrnThe 5’10” 175 lbs slot receiver will be a name to know in the Class of 2024. The playmaker is most dangerous after the catch. They put him in positions to do that with a lot of screen plays. Once Connor has the ball in his hands he gets to use his next level acceleration to burst through even the tightest lanes between defenders. He also has the quick twitch change of direction, and start/stop ability to make him very hard to contain. He sees the field and finds his paths just as quickly too. It looked like Connor was playing faster than any defender on the field Friday night. It led to a big night, and team victory.
