Jack is apart of a long line of family success at Sun Prairie East, and the 6’1″ 210 lbs LB looks ready to uphold the expectation of excellent. Right off the bat I was blown away by how explosive the junior LB has become. He flies around the field at 100 mph with a motor to match. Jack brings the tools needed to thrive at LB. He is quick laterally and explosive with his acceleration. The ’28 has the ability to navigate traffic efficiently and get to the football quickly. The power to drive back ball carriers or shed OL aside flashes plenty on tape as well. Plus he has outstanding range for the position to always be able to chase down the football wherever it is on the field. You really get a feel for the acceleration and speed to power when Jack is asked to rush off the edge. Coaches you have to check out the highlights. The arrow is pointing up for the Cardinal.

The one underclassman in this Top 10 is Sun Prairie East LB/ATH Jack Ostrenga Jack Ostrenga 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB/ATH Sun Prairie East | 2028 State WI . Jack has built up that frame over the past year, now checking in at 6’1″ 220 lbs. The sophomore has been seeing interest and visiting the FBS level this past year. Unfortunatley Jack faced injury in his sophomore season, but that hasn’t deterred any excitement or projections for the rising LB/ATH. This summer is a great launching point for the 2028 standout.

One of our top new additions to this Class is the two way playmaker out of Sun Prairie East. Jack was a problem at WR and off the edge as a freshman. He is always one of the biggest and strongest athletes on the field. He uses that to both create space or win 50/50 balls as well as set the edge by standing up blockers and then making the tackle. Jack also has natural hands that pluck the ball out of the air, and surprises with his speed when he is in the open field. Jack is a versatile athlete that is going to be one to watch closely as he continues to develop and grow.
