The time to step up and stand out was upon us last Friday night. Many took the big stage of the first round of the playoffs and did everything they could to help their team move on to the next round of the playoffs. Survive and advance is the name of the game. Let’s see really stepped up and took over games on the offensive side of the ball!
Amon Konopacki
Amon Konopacki
Stats: 8 Receptions, 163 Yards, 2 TDsrnSenior WR Amon Konopacki has put together a great season, and it has carried over to the postseason. Konopacki is the go to target for standout QB Grant Chandonais Grant Chandonais 6’4″ | 190 lbs | QB Stevens Point | 2025 State WI . He has reliable hands, and most impressive of all, demonstrated a strong talent of finding soft spots in the defense. His entire highlights show him finding wipe open spaces in the defensive backfield. He reads coverage well, and after the catch shows wiggle and elusiveness to make DBs miss. We also saw some nice route running and speed to get behind the DBs. This is a rising senior to know.
Stats: 4 Receptions, 152 Yards, 4 TDsrnConnor spent Level 1 doing his best 1998 Randy Moss Thanksgiving Day impression. The dominant senior WR took every catch to the house, and proved to be a legitimate mismatch, and next level talent. Connor dominated with speed, ball tracking downfield, and route running. At the break of the route Stauff is sudden and explosive. That consistently opens up huge separation for the QB to target. Connor is also able to easily maneuver himself and adjust to the flight of the ball downfield to be able to easily come down with it. Teams looking for a potential mismatch in the slot need to watch the tape.
Stats: 28 Carries, 345 Yards, 5 TDsrnAn athlete who is going to make a massive jump in the rankings after the season is TE Blake Thiry Blake Thiry 6’4″ | 220 lbs | TE Prairie Du Chien | 2025 State WI . He has prototypical size at 6’4″ 220 lbs. What truly sets him apart is how dominant of an athlete he is at that size. So much so that he has lined up at RB and completely taken over games. Blake has strong instincts, vision, and a feel for running the ball that will thrive after the catch at the next level. Blake has speed that allows him to run away form the field now, and will be a big problem for LBs at the next level. Thiry is also a powerful runner. He rips through arm tackle attempts, and easily keeps his feet after taking body hits. Blake is turning into a standout athlete with the talent to play FBS football.

Billy Navis
Billy Navis
Stats: 31 Carries, 195 Yards, 2 TDsrnBilly is proving that he is a back who can be a workhorse option at the HS level. The more I watch him the more I believe he can continue to make an impact at the next level. Navis brings the traits you want in a back with a large workload. Someone who is patient and has the vision to see blocks, let blocks develop, and then run angry as soon as he sees daylight. Navis is a physical athlete. He doesn’t hesitate to finish runs with a lowered shoulder, and his low center of gravity allows him to pick up yards after contact. I’m excited for Billy’s future.
Stats: 4 Receptions, 84 Yards, 2 TDsrnLevel 1 was a stage for Aiden to show how much of a mismatch he is at this level of competition. He towers over all CBs. His feet, balance, and body control allow him to run smooth routes without having to lose speed. The big target naturally plucks the ball out of the air away from his body. Then after the catch he can run away from you, and isn’t afraid to lower a shoulder. Krause is a big, athletic, mismatch of a TE prospect. I’m excited to watch him continue to ball out in the playoffs.
Stats: 9/15, 219 Yards, 3 TDsrnBrady continues to push his game to higher and higher levels as he goes through his HS career. He is a big kid for the position, and his mechanics and natural athleticism allows him to be such a smooth signal caller. His feet are quick, consistent, stay in connection with his eyes, and are able to quickly set so he can get the ball out fast. His throwing motion gets the ball out at a high release point, and efficiently. The ball jumps out of his live arm, and holds its velocity to the catch when he wants it to. Hilgart has great control over the ball too. His touch and accuracy to every level of the field is next level ready. Brady continues to climb the board and will be a top prospect.
Highlights
Stats: 30 Carries, 225 Yards, 2 TDsrnWe have written about Carson a few times this season, but I never regret turning on him most recent tape. The strong, big, dominating senior athlete takes over games on both sides of the ball. He runs so angry. Carson is always ready to lower a shoulder and churn his legs as he runs over a DB or LB. Bilitz is able to keep his feet in those high traffic/high contact plays and pick up yards after contact. Then when he gets into the open field he has enough long speed to create the big gains. The senior is an even better prospect on defense in my eyes and needs to be looked at there too. Rangy, hard hitter, and a strong blocker shedder who stifles the inside run game and can pursue out to the sideline. Get this kid on your boards. It’s time.
Stats: 11 Carries, 123 Yards, 2 TDsrnOwen has thrived with his larger workload this season, and so has the Kewaunee offense. In Level One play, we saw a lot of examples of his short area agility. Carson was able to consistently make defenders miss in tight quarters, or at least not allow them to make direct hits on him, so that way he could bounce off the tackle attempt and keep getting up field. Owen has the burst to hit the hole and burst out of cuts or jukes. He does a great job seeing the field too. The senior cuts back to utilize blocks, or capitalize on the defenders leverage. I like the senior’s feel for the position. Take a look at the film from this season so far.
