This was one of the easier choices to make in building our Perfect QB recruit. Brady is a technician in the pocket. Every rep looks so close to the last. His feet are quick and are able to set or reset and get the ball out quick. The senior seems to always be in a position where he is set to get the ball out at a second’s notice. The throwing motion matches the consistency of the feet. It is always over the top to negate odds of tipped passes. It is efficient, and the ball jumps out of his hand as he follows through over the top. I have been a huge fan of the mechanics of Hilgart over the years, so he was the quick choice here.

Brady wasn’t needed to come out and deliver a 300 yard passing game to pull this victory off. What Grafton did need from him was to be someone would deliver the times he was called upon. The senior QB that almost every single time on Friday night. The poise he plays with in the pocket only comes from dozens of games worth of experience, and Brady has that. The 6’2″ 200 lbs uncommitted passer is a great decision maker with the arm talent to earn a starting job at the next level. His control over ball placement always impresses on tape, and seeing it in person from throw to throw was great to watch. The senior QB is without a doubt a name to know.

What’s not to love about the career, season, and Week 4 tape from Grafton’s QB1? The senior has such a talented right arm that can be surgical from swing passes out of the backfield to dropping dimes over the shoulder of his receiver 40 yards downfield. Brady’s touch and ball placement are next level talents. His mechanics from his feet to his follow through are clean, consistent, and effective. The poise he has in the pocket while staring down pressure is a special talent to have as well. The senior QB is a quick and smart decision maker too. Having a QB like this leading the way is such an advantage at the HS level. I can’t wait to see what is ahead for Brady.

One of the best pure passers in the state returns to the field on Friday night as he leads Grafton into a battle with Cedarburg. Grafton will be looking to make their way back to Madison in November with a lot of the key pieces that helped get them there last fall. It will be interesting to see if Brady and the offense start off as hot as they did in 2023 when he threw for 327 yards and 2 TDs on just 26 attempts.
That type of output is always in the cards for a QB of Brady’s talent. The senior checks off all the boxes. Consistent footwork, an arm that can get the ball to every blade of grass with velocity, and the control over his placement to be a 70+% completion percentage passer while attacking every level of the field. The senior is extremely poised and enters his senior season with as much experience as you could hope for. College coaches, keep your eyes on the lookout for this Week 1 highlight tape.

, is still on the open market. The prototypical pocket passer is a poised leader of his offense. They put a lot of trust in him and the senior has always delivered with accuracy and great decision making. The ’25 plays with excellent mechanics that start at his feet and end with his quick release. When he is in rhythm, Brady’s mechanics are mirror images of each other from throw to throw. His consistency allows him to be a 70% completion percentage passer, and his strong arm sets him apart from the crowd because he can drive the ball on a rope to any level of the field while holding onto that accuracy. Brady is one of the top uncommitted prospects in WI, and he is poised for a big year in his final season.

Brady finished 3rd in passing yards in 2023, and is #1 among the athletes who are returning this season. Last year we saw Grafton make it to State utilizing the talented QB’s right arm at a consistent rate, so I expect to see more of that. He returns talented teammates on the OL, in the backfield, and on the receiving end of his passes. Hilgart is very comfortable in the offense, has a high level of talent, and will have plenty of chances to put up big numbers. That puts him as a quick first choice when predicting who will lead the state in passing yards.

Next up we have a great example of a top pocket passer type of QB. Brady has good size to stand tall in the pocket, scan the field, and find his mismatches. He is quick to process where he should go with the ball. The mechanics from his feet to his arm are well coached, and give him the ability to get the ball out the instant he wants to. Looking at the arm, Brady has the ability to get the ball to any spot on the field. He can let it rip deep downfield as his man gets behind the defense. He can drive it between defenders in the intermediate range of the field. Despite the power, Brady always has the ability to control where the ball is going to be placed. His pinpoint accuracy is on par or better than everyone in WI. Brady is a QB who can stand in the pocket, go through his progressions, and place the ball exactly where he wants it. Give him a look if you haven’t.

The #1 returning QB in both passing yards and TDs is the talented junior out of Grafton HS. The high end prospect led his team to a State Championship appearance in 2023 on the back of his 2,755 passing yards and 28 TDs. Brady is built for the next level. Standing 6’3″ 190+ lbs, Hilgart is your prototypical pocket passer. It is clear that the junior has been well coached. His mechanics are smooth, consistent, and efficient. That allows him to be accurate with his passes to every level of the field. It is clear that the junior has confidence is his arm and doesn’t shy away from the aggressive throws downfield or into tight windows. I’m excited to see how he performs in his final season leading a very skilled offense.
