It looks like Grant is focusing more on getting out to basketball visits this offseason, but the unanimous All Conference QB should get some looks for his play at QB. Grant has an excellent frame at 6’4″ 190 lbs. The pocket passer is poised within the pocket, standing tall and delivering strikes to all levels of the field. He has effective footwork within the pocket to buy time without bailing from the pocket. Even while buying time the 2025 QB keeps his eyes downfield and maintains his mechanics so he can stay accurate with his ball placement. I’m excited to cover his final season at Stevens Point this fall.

Grant led Stevens Point to a great 2023 season. That put him on the map, and has me excited for what is to come. Grant looks the part at 6’4″ 190 lbs. The tape shows a QB that understands how to place the ball depending on the defense. Grant can fire it in between the LB and CB, drop it over his man’s shoulder downfield in stride, or lob it into the end zone where his man can go up and get it. It is more than just accuracy to every level of the field. It is being able to pinpoint where his man has the best chance to get it. That accuracy along with smart decision making allows him to carve up defenses. Keep an eye on him this year.

out of Stevens Point. Grant has the prototypical frame at 6’4″ 185 lbs and fits the play style of a pocket passer. He is at his best when he can drop back, go through his progressions, and deliver the ball on time. When he is in his groove, Grant is a very accurate passer. I was impressed with his ball placement throughout his highlights. Grant has sufficient arm strength to attack the short to intermediate levels of the field. He can deliver the ball with zip out to 20 yards consistently. Lastly, Grant has shown the poise needed from pocket passers. He will stand in the pocket and deliver the ball with pressure in his face. This season I want to see that arm strength make another jump so he can hit those tight windows further downfield. Keep an eye out for the soon to be junior.
