The note I had logged in my notebook that described Peyton on his first look at the UWEC Big Man MEGA Camp was fiery, which is always one of the best words you can find to describe an offensive linemen’s hands. The 5’11 315 pounder from SPASH, not only showed off the great hands in Eau Claire, but I thought Peyton was one of the more relentless blockers at the point of attack with a high motor that was hard to miss. He’s another one out of this list that the Blugolds made an offer to after camp on Tuesday as when you roll the tape on Peyton, you see a meat-grinder type of offensive tackle that has a few WIAC offers already.

I love Peyton’s tape from 2025. He has a great frame and traits to play on the interior at the next level. As a run blocker Peyton is an absolute bulldozer. His heavy hands and powerful leg drive have produced several highlights of his running DL off the line or throwing them around the front seven. The big man is also really quick in those tight quarters. You also will love the tenacious mentality he plays with. He plays like he is hunting for defenders and wants to dish out as much punishment as possible. He is very tough and rugged. He is a kid I am confident can be an eventual starter at the next level.

The top OL recruit in this game was the junior for SPASH. Peyton mans the LT position for the Panthers, and while he had his hands full with the talented Hudson DL/front seven there was plenty to like about what we saw. At 300 lbs Peyton has proven that he can move. Like get out in space on screens and bury DBs. We also saw that he is light on his feet in pass protection, quickly getting depth vs those talented edge rushers from Hudson. Peyton has a stout anchor and flashed the ability to bury a DL when he is asked to fire out and create a push in the trenches. I’m feeling good about what I saw from the up and coming junior OL.
