Under the banners that represents NFL talent to Division III players that have refined their craft at the Linemen Lab with Dale Rodick, players put their best foot forward to further their exposure in front of scouts from Pitt, Rutgers and Toledo to name a few.
Colbyn Daniel Colbyn Daniel 6’6″ | 275 lbs | OL Clyde | 2024 State OH is building up to a massive senior year and not just with his 6-foot-6, 275 pound frame. Daniel has been striking the iron in the Linemen Lab and showed it off on Saturday with improved footwork. His junior season film is packed with clean, technical blocks and he has only been improving on his work. He was quick to get his hands on defenders to slow them down. Daniel was quick to show who was in charge by keeping his body in front of defenders in pass pro. His form stayed tight while keeping his shoulders above his hips to keep good balance and handle different moves from different players. Spring has been a busy time for Daniel as he continues to be noticed for good reason. Making trips to Toledo, Western Michigan, Miami of Ohio and Youngstown State in his college search, Daniel is earning some well-earned respect for his game and Saturday was a good showing for him.
Antonio Bottiggi Antonio Bottiggi 6’4″ | 245 lbs | DL Painesville Riverside | 2024 State OH had some of the quickest feet at the showcase while getting off some strong moves challenging the offensive linemen. Bottiggi’s wrestling background gives him a leg up in close combat during pass pro and he showed his strength well. He made a number of quick moves that left opposing players confused where he went in the blink of an eye. A number of his moves were quick to exploit little mistakes made by his opponent that opened the door just enough for him to perform. Bottiggi processes his opponent quickly and doesn’t go in with his mind made up about what he’s going to do which makes him very difficult to guard. His lateral movement on the day impressed as he quickly got off blocks to win matchups in one move. Bottiggi showed further proof he has the skillset to be a college talent and the work ethic to put him at the next level.
Jack OToole Jack OToole 6’2″ | 245 lbs | OL Avon Lake | 2025 OH put on a clinic at the pass pro by showing his great arm extension to quickly engage defenders and move them where he wanted. O’Toole has been working hard in the Linemen Lab and getting the results to prove it. An aggressive interior offensive lineman on his game film, he showed more control in the one-on-one to show his progress at work. His lateral movements were just as quick as the defenders he faced making him a road block few could outmaneuver. His form has become second nature as he was one of the best at the showcase to get into form off the snap and gain leverage under his man. O’Toole shows the impressive ability to move his feet quickly while still keeping all his power in his legs thanks to that solid form. O’Toole is only improving this offseason letting his work ethic take him to the next level and colleges would be wise to take notice now.

Another interior offensive lineman who made people notice him was Matthew Gary Matthew Gary 6’3″ | 295 lbs | OL Glenville | 2024 State OH . His progress this offseason has led him to improved physicality in his game and he performed his best at the showcase. He showed improved flexibility in his form allowing him to get under players more easily. Showing clear improvement with his footwork, Gary was soft on his feet to keep his power while moving. Gary looked poised in front of the scouts to keep his focus and deflect defender’s hands off him to move them off the ball. While he has never been short on strength, Gary showed a leap in physicality for things to come in his game. With plenty of time left this spring and summer to keep improving, Gary is a player I’m excited to see this fall as a more polished linemen with a lot of upside.

Trevor Whitney Trevor Whitney 6’3″ | 305 lbs | OL Spencerville | 2025 State OH was a brick wall in pass pro by keeping his shoulders squared to his man and demonstrating his strength on his robust 6-foot-3 frame. Whitney showed off his good balance as one of the most physical linemen getting into contact, but not falling prey to moves by defenders that would catch him leaning. He showed an above-average ability to absorb contact while getting his hands on defenders before extending his arms to force defenders to reset. His process bought time which can only help his quarterback next season and that is all thanks to his form. Whitney’s legs are always in the loaded position to keep his core in attack mode giving him power at the ready. His footwork was a nice part of his game as well with short steps keeping him upright and balanced. Whitney overall had a great showcase putting together all his knowledge he has learned at T3 into a well-rounded performance for the scouts on hand.
