Ohio Summer Spotlight: Top 2027 Prospects Making a Difference

There aren't many camps and not many games to attend right now, but that doesn't mean we at Prep Redzone are sitting on our hands. On the contrary, we are hard at work. All throughout the summer, we'll be taking a look at some top returning starters and young prospects who will make a big impact as the season rolls around this fall, spotlighting several prospects. Here is our summer scouting notebook spotlighting four prospects who want to make a difference:    [player_tooltip player_id='2253017' first='David' last='Dupee'] strikes me as a very tough quarterback who can make big throws with defenders in his face. Constantly staying in position to throw, Dupree has a quick release and flashes good accuracy over the middle of the field. Dupree throws a nice, on-time, accurate deep ball as well. Really like how he steps up in the pocket and pulls the trigger.     [player_tooltip player_id='1843822' first='Andrew' last='Davalla'] is a starting right tackle for St. Ignatius High School. Davalla has good first-step quickness, good leg drive and is a good finisher as a run blocker. He climbs nicely to the second level and combo-blocks well with guards to create vertical push in the run game. Although he gets walked back at times due to his weight, he has the foot speed to mirror rushers.     Terrel Karim is a strong two-way prospect for Akron East who is a strong run defender and solid receiver. At receiver he displays great hands over the middle of the field and ability to win contested catches, also displays good adjustment to the ball. At OLB, he can shoot through gaps and wrap-up ballcarriers. I love his pursuit and motor.     [player_tooltip player_id='1756961' first='Reece' last='Walby'] is a dynamic and versatile prospect who can take the ball to the house on any given play. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect is a threat with the ball in his hands, displays solid top-end speed and good vision and cutback. He can make defenders miss nicely in space. Keep an eye on his development.
