O’Toole’s power was nearly unmatched on the afternoon, mix that with his quickness and it’s no wonder he’s gaining as much attention as he is. O’Toole was another player who earned an offer at the showcase and it was his first from Walsh University. He stood out at the camp for his broad shoulders he used to delivery powerful first blows in drills. In pass pro, he looked like a player in midseason form with a great sense of movement against him with the strength to fight against it for wins. His footwork is rock solid as a defensive end that doesn’t give up ground. Power in his arms to rip past blocks. O’Toole has been on an upwards trajectory since his junior year and the best-on-best challenge was the best stage for him to shine. Earning his first offer was a big step, but it’s far from the last he will see.

O’Toole has been working hard in the Linemen Lab and getting the results to prove it. An aggressive interior offensive lineman on his game film, he showed more control in the one-on-one to show his progress at work. His lateral movements were just as quick as the defenders he faced making him a road block few could outmaneuver. His form has become second nature as he was one of the best at the showcase to get into form off the snap and gain leverage under his man. O’Toole shows the impressive ability to move his feet quickly while still keeping all his power in his legs thanks to that solid form. O’Toole is only improving this offseason letting his work ethic take him to the next level and colleges would be wise to take notice now.

O’Toole stands his ground in the middle of the action on the offensive with good strength and staying low to bulldoze defensive linemen. He has good form to lock into defenders shoulder pads and extend his arms. Has above average foot skills to churn up defensive linemen and drive them off the ball. Fires off the ball and moves up to the second level with speed to catch linebackers still reading the play. O’Toole has more than enough strength to handle defensive backs and pushes his hips out well to make more running space at the second level. When left with no man over him in the passing game, he instigates contact and assists from the interior to help pass protection. Does not allow a player to cross his face without contact. His aggressive nature from the position make him a pancake maker from a position not known for producing many big blocks. O’Toole is exactly the kind of player you want in the middle of the line with his physicality against defenders to wear them out quicker.
