is having the type of senior season at left tackle that leads to big success for his offense. Daniel anchors the left side, typically against a team’s most athletic defensive player, to provide clear-out blocks for his backs to run through. At 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, he is an athletic offensive linemen with the size to bully his assignment around. Uses his quickness to his advantage to get into position with good form and let his strength takeover to drive defenders out of the play. Has sound footwork that is as good as you will see out of any high school left tackle which allows him to handle any type of defender from edge rushers to bull rushing defensive lineman. Keeps his hips low when firing off, naturally wins the leverage battle on a regular basis. Packs a punch on first contact that can blow back defenders, uses that same force as an impactful defensive linemen. Shows an in-depth understanding of pass protection to rotate his blocks for full coverage on the left side. Daniel has taken steps each week not only improving his form in the Lineman Lab, but translating his work to his play each week.

on the radar of being one of the top offensive linemen around as a complete player with big upside. His highlight reel from being a dominant player as a junior is only more impressive when you see the work he has put in at the Lineman Lab since the end of last season. Daniel checks all the boxes for his size at 6-foot-6, his quickness and his physicality. Putting together all of his skills, he looks like a player that is ready for a massive senior year. His form coming out of his stance is as good as you will find at the high school level in any state. He has the size and power that are already at an elite level, but his best attribute is his work ethic. Daniel is the type of guy who puts in the work when others call it quits to keep finding room for improvement in his game. Taking his work to camps at Kent State, Ohio State, Ball State and Boston College, Daniel is on the hunt for his first big time offer. He is a player that I could see making an even bigger step come this fall and make a school that does offer him very happy with his services.

is building up to a massive senior year and not just with his 6-foot-6, 275 pound frame. Daniel has been striking the iron in the Linemen Lab and showed it off on Saturday with improved footwork. His junior season film is packed with clean, technical blocks and he has only been improving on his work. He was quick to get his hands on defenders to slow them down. Daniel was quick to show who was in charge by keeping his body in front of defenders in pass pro. His form stayed tight while keeping his shoulders above his hips to keep good balance and handle different moves from different players. Spring has been a busy time for Daniel as he continues to be noticed for good reason. Making trips to Toledo, Western Michigan, Miami of Ohio and Youngstown State in his college search, Daniel is earning some well-earned respect for his game and Saturday was a good showing for him.
