Continue ReadingNoah Willig has asserted himself as a dynamic playmaker on a serious state playoff contender with the film to back it up. Already a player with good speed to burn defenses, Willig has upped his game in his senior season as a serious weapon on offense and special teams. He demonstrates good vision ahead of the play with the reaction open up towards the open space. Good speed at 4.51 to burst upfield with the endurance to finish off long runs in the end zone. He is particularly dangerous on screens designed to maximize his skill set. Makes an impact on special teams in the kick and punt return game. Reads developing plays as they happen, like in the screen game. Shows good cuts with speed out of the push off to distance himself just enough from would-be tacklers. Uses his speed well in tight spaces, sees tight gaps and accelerates towards them with good success. Is a sound cornerback that uses his speed to close on receivers to defend passes. Willig is an all-around gamer with great size for his skill set at 6-foot-2 to make plays others simply can’t. Adding an explosive element to an already exciting season for his squad, Willig’s best ball is ahead of him with several offers to his name to play at the next level.

Highlights
Antonio Rosser
Antonio Rosser
Antonio Rosser is a cleanup linebacker with a lot of power in his game to bring down ball carriers with aggression. Rosser plays the linebacker position the right way by covering the second level of the field against the run with good efficiency. He gains speed in a narrow window where the play is headed and operates well against traffic to bring down ball carriers. A reliable tackler, doesn’t need help bringing down players of all sizes in solo situations. Shows all the right aggression fighting against blocks to either plug up running lanes or shed blockers to attack ball carriers. Shoots gaps with full commitment, has good footwork to break down and contain quicker backs. Has good speed in open space to track down players. Tackles with power coming from his legs to drive back ball carriers, had good strength in his arms to wrap up and not let players get away. Can play well in coverage against the pass, maintains eye contact in the backfield to quickly change direction to attack mobile quarterbacks. Rosser holds one offer to the next level, but coaches need to be paying attention to his game as a player meant for the college game. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him gain a few more offers by the end of the year.

Ja’Marrion Banks
Ja’Marrion Banks
Ja’Marrion Banks is a speedy back that defenses have to respect for his ability to scorch teams with his elusive speed. Banks is a player with speed in everything he does, not just in a straight line. Turns upfield with speed to lose defenders, even ones that take a good angle where the play is headed. Squares his shoulders in his running motion to keep balance for cuts at full speed. He is as dangerous as any running back in Northeast Ohio in open space. Plays well near the goal line, can make players miss around the edge with hits cuts to result in points. Can change direction and regain speed quickly. An able pass catcher with strong hands and good body adjustment to bring in passes to work upfield. Dangerous agility with his cuts, flexible body to dip below arm tackles. Strong enough to break arm tackles, has good strength in his legs to run out of lower tackles as well. Balance is above average to bounce off hits and keep moving. Banks is showing a lot in his junior season to build up his name with explosive plays. He needs to be on the radar of college coaches as a complete back on the rise.

Brady McKnight
Brady McKnight
In an offense with a gifted quarterback in an offense that likes to sling it all over the field, Brady McKnight is a player that can line up on the outside with a whole playbook of options to weaponize his skills. With good speed, McKnight is an effective receiver at all three levels. Able to make big plays on screens, swing passes and even vertical routes. Has soft hands to bring in passes all across his body. Makes good adjustments to the ball to bring in passes to work upfield after the catch. Shows good patience with blockers in front of him on short passes, able to use good burst towards green space. Runs intelligent routes to split defenders and open up the third level for big plays. Is as good of a runner you will find in a straight line to leave defenders behind him. Is able to be used in creative ways on offense with sweep plays and even passing. Isn’t afraid to get involved in the blocking game, shows solid form to drive defensive backs off the ball. McKnight is a quarterback’s best friend getting open on routes as well as improvising to give his quarterback an option to throw to on broken plays.

Colbyn Daniel Colbyn Daniel 6’6″ | 275 lbs | OL Clyde | 2024 State OH is having the type of senior season at left tackle that leads to big success for his offense. Daniel anchors the left side, typically against a team’s most athletic defensive player, to provide clear-out blocks for his backs to run through. At 6-foot-6 and 275 pounds, he is an athletic offensive linemen with the size to bully his assignment around. Uses his quickness to his advantage to get into position with good form and let his strength takeover to drive defenders out of the play. Has sound footwork that is as good as you will see out of any high school left tackle which allows him to handle any type of defender from edge rushers to bull rushing defensive lineman. Keeps his hips low when firing off, naturally wins the leverage battle on a regular basis. Packs a punch on first contact that can blow back defenders, uses that same force as an impactful defensive linemen. Shows an in-depth understanding of pass protection to rotate his blocks for full coverage on the left side. Daniel has taken steps each week not only improving his form in the Lineman Lab, but translating his work to his play each week.
