Austin Morrison Austin Morrison 6’3″ | 225 lbs | TE Glenoak | 2024 OH is a true tight end that enjoys a big block as much as he does a first down grab. Morrison has the size of an impact player off the line at 6-foot-3 and a big frame to boot. He crashes down hard on blocks and delivers offensive linemen blocks from a guy that has soft hands when the ball is thrown his way. As a pass catcher, he commands a wide catch radius to bring down high-difficulty passes as well as simple passes with the same consistency. His hands have looked really solid at his camps this offseason making some highlight reel catches with ease. Most importantly, his speed and routes look crisp and at an elevated level than what I saw from last season. No doubt Morrison is a big time weapon in an offense with a big time quarterback if he gets the reps, but unlike most tight ends in the high school ranks, he is also a very effective blocker. He has the ability to make key blocks to seal edges on defensive linemen as well as linebackers. Has good aggression to initiate the contact and gain the upper hand before his man can blow up the play. Morrison is on the radar of a lot of programs as he should be with offers from Wittenberg, Otterbein and Mount Union.

Highlights
A lot of work this offseason has led to Colbyn Daniel Colbyn Daniel 6’6″ | 275 lbs | OL Clyde | 2024 State OH on the radar of being one of the top offensive linemen around as a complete player with big upside. His highlight reel from being a dominant player as a junior is only more impressive when you see the work he has put in at the Lineman Lab since the end of last season. Daniel checks all the boxes for his size at 6-foot-6, his quickness and his physicality. Putting together all of his skills, he looks like a player that is ready for a massive senior year. His form coming out of his stance is as good as you will find at the high school level in any state. He has the size and power that are already at an elite level, but his best attribute is his work ethic. Daniel is the type of guy who puts in the work when others call it quits to keep finding room for improvement in his game. Taking his work to camps at Kent State, Ohio State, Ball State and Boston College, Daniel is on the hunt for his first big time offer. He is a player that I could see making an even bigger step come this fall and make a school that does offer him very happy with his services.

Mekhi Mack
Mekhi Mack
Mekhi Mack comes into his senior year having already made a positive impact as an interior offensive lineman that can clear out a hole as a run blocker. Mack has good strength and power in his arms that make him a guy ideal for a run blocking scheme. When he gets his hands on an opponent he can take care of his man while helping his teammates around him. Joins in on double-teams with aggression to help in short yardage situations. Has the size at 6-foot-4 to play any position on the offensive line and has lined up as a center, guard and tackle throughout last season. His versatility on the line makes him a valuable component to his team and has helped in his recruiting process to earn an offer from Otterbein. Mack looked strong in the pass pro workout at a camp at Akron where he looks to have made even more gains in his upper body strength. He showed good control of his man to show off in front of the college coaches. I’m looking forward to seeing how Mack looks once the Friday night lights are on and he can perform what he has worked on this summer.

Dasean Johnson
Dasean Johnson
Dasean Johnson has the makeup every coach wants to see in a cornerstone left tackle. Johnson’s work ethic this offseason has put him in an elite category with work in the Lineman Lab leading to success and offers at a number of camps since the start of spring. Working his elite 6-foot-7 frame against some of the top talent in the area, Johnson looks like a guy ready to bust out in his senior year. Already with a lot of varsity experience, he has gotten more familiar with his routine coming out of the stance to maintain blocks for longer. In his well-documented work this summer he is pushing the limits on what his body can do against speed rushers. Amping up his own pace to gain an early position, Johnson keeps his form tight to repel pass rushers. One of the things that has impressed me is how soft his feet have gotten with a fluid pass blocking form which will make him an exciting player to watch. Johnson has filled his offseason with more camps than the average player that have yielded offers from Ohio Wesleyan, Otterbein and Baldwin Wallace to name a few.
