The Ohio high school football season is officially underway, and so many prospects are standing out on tape, including some seniors who are looking to get one last chance to play on the gridiron, and hopefully land a college offer or two. Here are some early standouts in the senior class in central Ohio who stood out this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='1905475' first='Max' last='Theado'] for Bishop Watterson is a returning Class of 2027 prospect with good potential. Good pass protector. Plays with good hand leverage bend and strike timing. Can neutralize rushers and be hard to get around when at OT. Good use-of-hands and leg drive as a run blocker. Probably kicks inside to guard/center in college just with his height and frame. Defending state champs off to a strong start.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845589' first='Carter' last='Bellisari'] is making an impact all over the field for Bishop Watterson. The big 6-foot-3, 205-pound Class of 2027 prospect is a very high impact player on both sides o the ball. Bellisari displays good burst off the line-of-scrimmage, high-points the ball and wins one-on-one battles. He high-points and wins contested catches. On defense, he recorded a pass breakup in Week 2. He has enough speed to be a home-run threat after the catch, too.

Jerry Ogbeifun is a starting offensive lineman for Pickerington Central. Ogbeifun has a 6-foot-6, 290-pound prototypical frame. Still raw and developing, but the sky is the limit on his potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107336' first='Kevin' last='Smith'] is a starting Class of 2027 wide receiver for Pickerington Central. Smith is more of a possession wideout; a big-bodied, 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect with a wide catch radius. Smith can high-point the ball effectively and uses his length well to snatch the ball out of the air. Keep an eye on his development and he could receive attention during this fall season. .Really shining with improved juice after the catch.
