I saw Carter do great work against Big Walnut in the season opener, and he has continued that work throughout the rest of the regular season. He’s done work both as a receiver and a cornerback, but I will take his acts as a receiver in this series. He’s an athletic prospect who has a fundamentally sound game. He’s got the route running, release, size, and athletic tools you look for in FBS prospects. Carter will make a lot of noise in the state if Bishop Watterson goes on their expected deep playoff run.

Carter Bellisari Carter Bellisari 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB/WR Bishop Watterson | 2027 State OH is continuing to prove himself as one of the better prospects in central Ohio as the defending state champions roll on to a 3-0 record, this time with a decisive 38-0 win over Westerville North. Bellisari is a good route runner and comes off the LOS with good burst and acceleration. In just the first half last week, he recorded 4 catches for 120 yards receiving and one touchdown.

Bellisari is a talented two-way player from the defending state champion Watterson Eagles. He’s a fluid athlete who could really play Safety, Hybrid Linebacker, or Receiver at the next level depending on how he continues to develop and fill out. As a route runner Carter is fluid and detailed in his routes as he sets up defenders in his moves and creates separation. He has great hands and ball skills. I think defense is where he’ll end up at the next level. His versatility and ability to be a high-level player in coverage in the pass game and a downhill rangy tackler in the run game will make him a valuable player on that side of the ball. I really think Carter is going to blow up on the D1 and P4 level this fall.

Carter was my MVP of the game. On offense, he made several splash plays down the field and finished with several touchdowns. He showed good separation and looks like he’ll be the top target for the offense. Defensively, he was in good position all night long and made plays to break up passes. If Carter can keep up this level of play throughout the season, he’ll be a top prospect in all of Ohio.
