Clark, an asset to Trotwood- Madison’s varsity defensive lineup is dominant when matched up with opposing receivers. In addition to his impeccable ability when in tough match-ups with WR’s creating tight windows, Clark has a strong ability to read the opposing QB and analyze his next approach. His ability to read the opposing QB lead to 1 INT by Clark as well as Clark’s read on run-game as a DB allows for big plays for loss of yards and pressure on the offensive line in the previous season. I’m excited to see where Clark goes in the next 2 seasons!
Cook, a dominant component of the varsity defensive lineup. Holding 4 sacks, 106 Tackles, and 43 TFl Cook has shown his athleticism as a linebacker. Pressure is a key aspect of Cooks playing style making him a standout as a linebacker being able to read plays at an extremely high level, as well as his size contributes as well. Based on the stats of his Sophomore season I am excited to see what work he puts in this off-season building for the next 2 years.
Gregory, a varsity Sophomore is crucial to St. Edwards inside/middle linebacker positions. Coming in at 6’0 225 Gregory’s stats range around 6 sacks, 178 tackles, that’s just the beginning. Gregory represents sole athleticism and speed as he applies pressure off the line as well as when matched up with WRs, often being able to break up or intercept catches. As he trains through this off-season i am excited to see his athleticism take it to the next level next season!
Davis, a huge prospect of the Cleveland Heights football program asserts dominance in the linebacker position. The speed of Davis in this position is then just another aspect of his athleticism. Reflecting on this sophomore season, he partook in both RB and LB positions but took his athletic abilities to make him a defensive standout. Not only has Davis stood out in both positions but is a multi-sport powerhouse. I’m very excited about Davis’ future playing the game and in the next two seasons!
Dabney is an asset to St. Edwards JV team being a defensive end. Being 6’1 190 has allowed him to have quite a bit of speed in his Sophomore season. There are increased opportunities for Dabney at this point, as in this past season he was a part of numerous crucial tackles. I am very interested as Dabney becomes more dominant on the field where the next two years will take him.
