Jahmale’s great play in 2022 helped the Trotwood-Madison Rams to a 7-win season and advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He lines up at CB.  Against the pass, he is patient with his hands in press coverage and effectively matches the feet of the WR.  He shows good play speed as he keeps the WR at arm’s length. He exhibits good ball skills as he reads the QB and shows good hands as he makes the interception. Against the run, he shows great football intelligence as he quickly reads run/pass, plays with good leverage and delivers a nice form tackle preventing a first down.

Clark, an asset to Trotwood- Madison’s varsity defensive lineup is dominant when matched up with opposing receivers. In addition to his impeccable ability when in tough match-ups with WR’s creating tight windows, Clark has a strong ability to read the opposing QB and analyze his next approach. His ability to read the opposing QB lead to 1 INT by Clark as well as Clark’s read on run-game as a DB allows for big plays for loss of yards and pressure on the offensive line in the previous season. I’m excited to see where Clark goes in the next 2 seasons!

Against the pass, he does an excellent job of reading the eyes of the QB, locates the ball in the air and times his hands well as he disrupts the trajectory of the ball for a PBU. Against the run, he shows good football intelligence as he quickly reads run/pass, takes good angles in pursuit and delivers a nice form tackle preventing a gain of significant yardage.
