Carpenter is a rangy linebacker that can cover a ton of ground in a hurry. Whether it’s in coverage or in the run game he’s a playmaker. He makes solid breaks and takes good angles to the ball in the pass game. Against the run he plays downhill but under control. Trotwood Madison defenses are always built to be play fast and hit hard. Carpenter definitely takes after that style of play. Tyler currently holds offers from Toledo and Kent State.
