Jameer Whyce Jameer Whyce 6'4" | 270 lbs | DL Trotwood-Madison | 2028 State OH is a dominant defensive tackle for Trotwood-Madison High School. Whyce is a strong pass rusher and even better against the run, with excellent anchor strength and the ability o hold the point-of-attack. At 6-foot-5, 270 pounds, he has a legitimate top-shelf Division I frame. Whyce has given an early verbal commitment to Ohio State.

Whyce made news earlier this month with his commitment to Ohio State. Whyce is a rare blend of size, explosiveness, and athleticism. Guys his size don’t move like him and the fact he’s showing all of this just as a sophomore is even more rare. His get off is as good as you’ll see at the high school level. The bend and ability to turn the corner at his size is really impressive. He can win with speed, and he can win with power. He lines up at defensive end for the Rams, but I project him as a rush tackle at the college level. The Buckeyes got a good one in Whyce.

Whyce is our top player in our initial 2028 rankings, and for good reason. He is a pass-rushing monster and has several pass-rush moves to get into the backfield. He has great bend for his size. His athleticism is a major plus and he bullied some of the offensive linemen he lined up against. He will likely end up as someone popping up on P4 boards very soon, and everyone will have to know the name Jameer Whyce Jameer Whyce 6'4" | 270 lbs | DL Trotwood-Madison | 2028 State OH .
