This season, Lucas passed for 1,600 yards and 12 TD and his good play was a bright spot in the 0-10 season of the Benedictine Bengals. He plays with very good poise as he delivers an accurate ball with a defender in his face. He possesses very good arm strength as he passes the ball 50+ yards with ease. He shows solid mobility as he rolls out, keeps his eyes downfield and makes the throw while on the move. He displays good play speed and athletic ability as he can pick up a first down on his own when needed.
This season, Lincoln helped the St. Francis DeSales Stallions to a 7-win season, advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs and held opposing offenses to 14.25 points per game. He plays as a MLB. Against the run, he shows good football intelligence to quickly read run/pass and shows excellent range and instincts in pursuit against outside runs before making the tackle near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage. He shows good play strength as he sheds the block from the OL on inside runs before making the tackle in his gap.
This season, Kam helped the Fairland Dragons to a 7-win season and average 27.4 points per game. He plays as a RB and WR. As a receiver, he is quick off the LOS and shows good football intelligence as he reads the coverage and finds the soft spot in zone. He makes the catch with his hands and shows good contact balance as he breaks tackles from DB near the goal line before scoring a TD. When running the ball, he uses his very good vision to find the open lane and great athletic ability to turn the corner and pick up a first down.
Highlights
This season, Reese’s great play was a bright spot in the 5-6 season of the Licking Heights Hornets. He plays as a SS. Against the pass, he does a very good job of reading the QB and locates the ball in the air before showing good hands as he comes down with the interception. After the interception is made, he uses his good combination of play speed and contact balance as he breaks tackles and outruns everyone on the offense before scoring a TD. Against the run, he quickly penetrates the LOS and shows very good closing speed in pursuit before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.
Highlights
This season, Brennen led the Gahanna Lincoln Golden Lions to a 13-win season, average 31.4 points per game and advance to the Division I Semifinals. He quickly reads the defense and finds the open receiver. He delivers an accurate ball with excellent velocity placing it on the correct shoulder maximizing YAC. He shows good movement in the pocket as he avoids the rush before making an accurate pass. He throws the deep ball with very good accuracy and touch. He exhibits solid play speed as he picks up a first down on a broken play or on a design run.
