Reese had a great Junior season in 2023. His very good play helped the Grandview Heights Bobcats to a 7-win season where they held opposing offenses to 19 points per game. He plays as a DE. Against the pass, he is quick off the ball and effectively uses his good use of hands and play strength to disengage from the OT. He shows good closing speed in pursuit before finishing up with a sack. Against the run, he uses his good quickness to penetrate the LOS before quickly locating the ballcarrier. He shows very good range in pursuit before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.

In 2022, Reese’s very good play was a bright spot in the 5-6 season of the Licking Heights Hornets where they held opposing offenses to 21 points or less 6 times. He lines up at FS and SS. Against the pass, he does a good job of patrolling his zone while reading the QB. Once the ball is thrown, he shows elite closing speed and takes good angles in pursuit before delivering a big hit near the LOS preventing a gain of significant yardage. Against the run, he does an outstanding job of timing the snap before using his great quickness to penetrate the LOS. He plays with good leverage and explosiveness as he makes the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.

This season, Reese’s great play was a bright spot in the 5-6 season of the Licking Heights Hornets. He plays as a SS. Against the pass, he does a very good job of reading the QB and locates the ball in the air before showing good hands as he comes down with the interception. After the interception is made, he uses his good combination of play speed and contact balance as he breaks tackles and outruns everyone on the offense before scoring a TD. Against the run, he quickly penetrates the LOS and shows very good closing speed in pursuit before making the tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.
