Continue ReadingTwo-way player whose skillset and production should place him in the “ATH” pool. Inside and out slot capabilities on offense. Inside and out slot capabilities on defense as well. Even production on both sides of the ball, Caiden Pines Caiden Pines 6’0″ | 185 lbs | WR Cumberland Valley | 2024 State PA provides Cumberland Valley with consistent seam benders that show off the connection he has with CBV’s quarterback. He understands when to break off his routes, when and where he can open up passing windows for his QB. This is the type of wideout coaches and quarterbacks can trust on the field. Solid hands too, they translate over to the defensive side of the football with Pines securing three interceptions this past Fall. His natural hands lead me to believe he’s got a future at wideout at the next level in a similar role he plays now at CBV.
The primary target for DL’s Derek Burk Derek Burk 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Deer Lakes | 2024 State PA , both prospects have seen a noticeable improvement in rank after this Fall. Outside lane receiver whose tape provides a little of everything. He’s seen stretching the field with his stride, he’s seen serving as a red zone threat. Ryan Cochran Ryan Cochran 6’1″ | 190 lbs | WR Deer Lakes | 2024 State PA is 6’1, yet he plays a bit bigger and taller than his measurables suggest. Will surprise some in open space, not that his YAC ability is a large part of his game. Love his improvisational skills when plays break down. He and Burk’s connection shine brightest in these moments. I can see an explosion in production this time next year.
30 receptions, 590 yards receiving, and 5 touchdowns in ten games for the North Penn pass-catcher. Rashad McNeil Rashad McNeil 6’2″ | 175 lbs | WR North Penn | 2024 State PA ‘s rank took a small hit, yet it was hardly his own doing. We expected more production out of McNeil, yet Yazeed Haynes Yazeed Haynes 6’2″ | 175 lbs | WR North Penn | 2023 State PA acted as the primary target of the offense. It’s impressive that McNeil was still able to put up these numbers with Haynes opposite of him. With Haynes out of the picture, I can imagine that McNeil will be ready to show off what he’s really about. McNeil fits the mold that many of the top 100 wideouts fit into, he’s a candidate to move back into the top 10 solely because of his total skillset. He’s got the hands, size, and play strength to be a prominent name in the state.
Eric Demyun Eric Demyun 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Episcoal Academy | 2024 State PA ‘s skillset screams tight end or outside linebacker, particularly when you look at his size as well as some of his crack-blocking reps on tape. Demyun has a physical side to his game that leaves you thinking he weighs 235 pounds. Then you see him run and catch the ball and you can see the wide receiver in him. Natural pass-catcher with a catch radius way above his helmet, Eric Demyun Eric Demyun 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Episcoal Academy | 2024 State PA might be one of the more underrated prospects on this list. Episcopal’s bread and butter isn’t the passing game, so Demyun’s production leaves a lot to be desired. We can’t credit that detriment to his name, it’s undeserved. The 6’2 junior provides 60/40 jump ball capabilities in an offense that wants to run the ball first. Either way, this is a kid that is flashing D1 potential.
One of the new additions to the rankings is Washington product Ruben Gordon Ruben Gordon 6’2″ | 170 lbs | ATH Washington | 2024 State PA , another 6’2 pass catcher who managed to record 600 yards receiving along with a whopping 15 total touchdowns. Arguably the best return man on this list, Gordon has a wide stride to his name that doesn’t need a ton of space to get going. Gordon reminds me a ton of Durrell Cesaer from a YAC and build perspective. Gordon is lanky, yet can separate with DBs downfield because of this long stride. Gordon can beat you from any alignment, up the seam, down the sideline, you name it. This might be a hidden gem out west.
Elusive, slippery in the open field. Jamaire Harden Jamaire Harden 5’10” | 155 lbs | WR Loyalsock Township | 2024 State PA is the explosive weapon Williamsport deploys from various alignments. Harden is your typical playmaker that needs the ball in his hands. Williamsport has Harden returning punts and kicks, spread out wide on passing downs, even split in the backfield with backs. Effortless jets that can break DB angles in foot races down the sideline. Harden’s skillset would fit in well with the OLSH and Farrell offenses from this past Fall, as he reminds me of many seniors on both of those offenses. 37 receptions for 600 yards and seven scores. His play at DB is what elevates him above similar-style prospects.

Tyler Wileczek Tyler Wileczek 5’8″ | 160 lbs | WR West Chester East | 2024 State PA and Jamaire Harden Jamaire Harden 5’10” | 155 lbs | WR Loyalsock Township | 2024 State PA share a similar skillset as well as similar production. Harden takes the higher rank by a hair strictly because of said production. Throw his measurables out the window, West Chester East makes sure to get the football into the hands of their playmaker as often as possible. Jet-sweeps behind the LOS, vertical shots downfield. It’s awesome to see the growth from his sophomore year. We thought he’d produce exactly like this, yet I can tell that this is far from his ceiling from a production standpoint. I could see Tyler Wileczek Tyler Wileczek 5’8″ | 160 lbs | WR West Chester East | 2024 State PA secure 60-plus balls next fall for 600+ yards. He’s that kind of weapon.

I like the nuance I see in Carter Shanafelt Carter Shanafelt 5’11” | 180 lbs | WR Peters Township | 2024 State PA ‘s game. He can be productive all at three levels of the field specifically because of how well he understands defensive coverage, as well as the nuances of his routes off the LOS as well as early off the snap. Good lateral displacement when releasing outside. Good leverage use before breaking out of his stem. Love watching him attempt to be physical throughout his routes despite his frame being somewhat average. He can surpass his Fall line of 40 receptions, 530+ yards, and seven touchdowns. Wouldn’t surprise me to see it double.
Angel saw a boost this Fall, yet I still think it might not be fitting considering the year he had at Milton Hershey. 6’1,185 pounds, the former camp standout hauled in 40 receptions for just over 600 yards and 8 TDs. That’s similar to those above and beneath him, yet I think Roberts has a higher ceiling than many of the prospects he ranks near. Tons and tons of quality reps of Roberts making plays downfield, taking the top off the defense and locating the ball in the air as many of the elite pass-catchers in his class do. I’m liking Roberts’ body control, both in and out of his breaks when running his routes. His body control at the catch point impressed me as well, he’s got a catch radius that extends far from his chest/body. Roberts cashed in on a great Fall that he said he was going to have. Confident player whose stock is rising.

Here’s a sleeper on our ranks. Caden DeLattre Caden DeLattre 6’2″ | 160 lbs | WR Hollidaysburg | 2024 State PA is a new addition to the site, a 6’2, 160-pound WR/DB out of Hollidaysburg that put up better numbers than the majority of the kids ranked above him. If DeLattre can put on 15-20 pounds of muscle, we’d be looking at a prospect who could seek out D1 suitors. His production and tape are legit, he fits the mold of a top-25 wideout, yet I can’t help myself but ask more of this young man. Hollidaysburg is going to send the junior deep multiple times a game, making sure DBs respect his ability to get downfield in a flash. Some DBs aren’t ready for his separation skills or his high-pointing ability. I’m very curious to see what this kid’s ceiling is. Can he break into the top 20? Did I overestimate his capabilities? He’ll be a fun player to watch moving forward. Would love to have him at our camps.
