So I went back and watched his film from the year before and I was blown away. Demyun catches the ball very well. He has excellent hands and has great body control. He catches the ball well in traffic in between defenders. He has good size standing 6’2 inches tall and uses it well. When the ball was thrown for 50/50 balls he was able to usually come down with the ball. It is the tough part of recruiting when a player gets hurt, but if everything checks out with his knee he should have a chance to play College Football.

I haven’t heard from the young man in some time, haven’t seen him active on socials either. Yet I did see him at the most recent Temple camp, where he competed against some stellar PA/NJ talent. Ranked in January as a top 20 wideout, I have no intention of changing that rank, for better or worse. I know coaches wonder if he’s a true wideout, or if his future lies at the TE/OLB/LB positions. I agree with the notion that Demyun’s future isn’t cemented at WR, this should improve his stock with coaches who want to mold some clay. Excited to see more this offseason.

Episcopal’s bread and butter isn’t the passing game, so Demyun’s production leaves a lot to be desired. We can’t credit that detriment to his name, it’s undeserved. The 6’2 junior provides 60/40 jump ball capabilities in an offense that wants to run the ball first. Either way, this is a kid that is flashing D1 potential.
