All three of the listed quarterbacks were in consideration to make our 1st-Team selections. Limited to just three spots, some talented QBs will inevitably fall. Whether or not a kid places on what list is hardly the important thing here. Loyalsock Township’s Tyler Gee Tyler Gee 6’0″ | 185 lbs | QB Loyalsock Township | 2024 State PA improved upon a wonderous sophomore year at the program, elevating his passing yard, rushing yard, and touchdown totals by a wide margin. I expect him to stay on that trajectory as a senior. 4.70 40, class president boasting a 4.0 GPA. Three-sport athlete too. I know schools have him on radar, intrigued as to how high his ceiling could reach. I’d imagine he’s a take at a PSAC program, that could be his floor.

Both Gee and PCC’s Payton Wehner Payton Wehner 6’0″ | 175 lbs | QB Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2024 State PA have obvious “deficiencies” in terms of height. Let’s get that out of the way early. It should speak wonders of their overall skillsets if the majority of media still keep Gee and Wehner in high regard. Pittsburgh Central Catholic is to the brim with talent at pretty much every position, the depth chart runs deep. Anyone potentially keeping Jy’Aire Walls at bay is certainly a quality passer. I still haven’t had the chance to see this kid throw in person, yet the tape, grades, and production all check out. Multi-sport, 4.5 GPA, the only harp to his name will be his frame.
Caleb Wray Caleb Wray 6’3″ | 180 lbs | QB Trinity | 2024 State PA rounds out the 2nd-Team quarterback selections. National Honor Society member, 3.7 GPA, running a 4.8 40 standing at 6’3, 175. I have a feeling we are going to see improvement across the board at Trinity Camp Hill. Another year of Messiahfdc df Mickens Messiahfdc df Mickens 5’11” | 185 lbs | ATH PA , another year of Tanie Young Tanie Young 5’10” | 170 lbs | ATH Trinity | 2025 State PA and Jeremiah Hargrove Jeremiah Hargrove 5’9″ | 185 lbs | ATH Carlisle | 2024 State PA , all after an offseason continuing to learn from Coach Hill and staff. This all bodes well for Caleb Wray Caleb Wray 6’3″ | 180 lbs | QB Trinity | 2024 State PA , both in terms of eyes on him moving forward, and of course, in terms of the young man continuing to progress as a passer and leader. The upside is obvious.

Running Backs
A young man out of Father Judge who we were very high on early into his career. Recruitment hasn’t necessarily reflected the early praise, yet that doesn’t mean I’ll stop mentioning his name to college coaches recruiting Philadelphia. Power is this kids staple, he can turn on jets if he sees a lane though, we’ve seen Eric Smith Eric Smith 5’10” | 190 lbs | RB Father Judge | 2024 State PA hit home runs running between the tackles or in the return game, yet his staple remains his leg drive. 3.6 GPA, 5’10, and 190 pounds. Smith is currently ranked as a top 15 back, we’ll see if he elevates or falls this next update.
Here’s a prospect at a program that excites me. I can’t wait to cover Cumberland Valley a bit better than I have in the past. The primary back deployed by the program is Bryce Staretz Bryce Staretz 6’1″ | 215 lbs | RB Cumberland Valley | 2024 State PA , a kid who is expected to climb up our ranks this July. Real FCS interest that could lead to real FCS offers in time. 6’1, a great build just underneath 220 pounds, Bryce Staretz Bryce Staretz 6’1″ | 215 lbs | RB Cumberland Valley | 2024 State PA boasts a 4.0 GPA while squatting 475 and benching 300+. There’s a lot to like before cutting on the tape. Turn on said tape and you’ll see why I like him as one of the state’s best-unoffered backs.

Penn Charter will likely have two top-25 running backs stationed in the backfield. We all know about Ohifame Ijeboi Ohifame Ijeboi 6’0″ | 195 lbs | RB William Penn Charter | 2024 State PA ‘s talents, the young back recently committing to Minnesota. Penn Charter also deploys Zachary Curtin Zachary Curtin 5’11” | 195 lbs | RB Penn Charter | 2024 State PA in the same backfield. We at Prep Redzone are all too familiar with Curtin’s game, especially myself. I’ve attended a few PC games in person and awarded 2nd-Team All-Camp honors to Curtin after his camp performance earlier this year. He finds himself on this list as well. It’s worth mentioning Curtin’s prowess at DB, he’ll inevitably keep his role there this coming season. The more reps around the field, the better his recruitment.
Amir Major Amir Major 5’10” | 200 lbs | RB North Penn | 2024 State PA is a prime candidate to earn his future opportunities during the season as opposed to the Spring/Summer. The North Penn back, 5’10, 200 pounds, is more of a pads-on impressor. The NP backfield has been loaded for some years. That being said, this coming Fall should grant Amir Major Amir Major 5’10” | 200 lbs | RB North Penn | 2024 State PA the majority of the carries, along with Chris Scruggs presumably alleviating Major while also providing pass-catching abilities out of the backfield. I’m expecting a huge production boost in Major’s favor. I’ve run his name through a few programs already.

Wide Receiver
The highest ranking prospect on this list, a top-100 prospect at that. I don’t expect Isaiah Brown Isaiah Brown 6’2″ | 200 lbs | WR Armstrong | 2024 State PA to drop much after this coming update, largely because my opinions on him haven’t changed. Yes, recruitment hasn’t necessarily lined up as we’d thought, yet this is hardly a time to panic. The FCS grade we put on Brown’s shoulders still holds true. The interest is still prevalent, even at the G5 level. So I won’t knee-jerk and plummet this kid down our ranks, he is still a top 15 wideout to me at this current point in time. Colt Sprankle Colt Sprankle 6’0″ | 155 lbs | QB Armstrong | 2026 State PA is going to connect with Brown seamlessly.
I’d speak the same for Hunter Aquino Hunter Aquino 6’5″ | 190 lbs | WR Academy of the New Church | 2024 State PA as I have for Isaiah Brown Isaiah Brown 6’2″ | 200 lbs | WR Armstrong | 2024 State PA . Both top-100 prospects, both heavily favored by myself. Again, nothing has changed in terms of my evaluation of the young man. If he were to potentially drop on our ranks, that’ll be because of other WRs below Aquino whose stocks may be on the rise. An awesome target outside the numbers, an equally impressive Lacrosse prospect too, Hunter Aquino Hunter Aquino 6’5″ | 190 lbs | WR Academy of the New Church | 2024 State PA is one of the best-unoffered pass-catchers the state has to offer, his tape and production prove that and more.
Love this prospect out of Episcopal Academy. Eric Demyun Eric Demyun 6’2″ | 185 lbs | WR Episcoal Academy | 2024 State PA , standing at 6’2, 195 pounds, productive WR/LB while also playing basketball at EA. I haven’t heard from the young man in some time, haven’t seen him active on socials either. Yet I did see him at the most recent Temple camp, where he competed against some stellar PA/NJ talent. Ranked in January as a top 20 wideout, I have no intention of changing that rank, for better or worse. I know coaches wonder if he’s a true wideout, or if his future lies at the TE/OLB/LB positions. I agree with the notion that Demyun’s future isn’t cemented at WR, this should improve his stock with coaches who want to mold some clay. Excited to see more this offseason.
Wrote on Caiden Pines Caiden Pines 6’0″ | 185 lbs | WR Cumberland Valley | 2024 State PA recently. He, as well as any other readers, are well aware of how fond I am of the young man, the second Cumberland Valley prospect on this list. Talking with those in the know, I wouldn’t be surprised if the young man receives late FCS love in the form of offers sometime in the coming months. Even if the ceiling we’ve placed for him is too high, we all know this kid would be a take at the PSAC level. A lot is still yet to be determined, Pines tape, however, is already rock solid.
Tight Ends
Gavin Picard Gavin Picard 6’3″ | 205 lbs | TE Avon Grove | 2024 State PA has an incredible story to tell, any readers should attempt to hear it from him if they are able to do so.
Back to football. You can’t find many better tight-end prospects currently unoffered. The Avon Grove senior prospect, standing at 6’3, 205 pounds, will be back as a team captain ready to provide quality reps at TE or safety. 3.9 GPA to his name, I fully expect PSAC schools to be fully interested in what Picard can bring to the table. No current intentions of dropping Picard out of the TE top ten, yet I could see a potential move to “ATH”. I’ve carved out space to make sure I see this kid in person before the season ends, Avon Grove isn’t too far. I’ll be sending his name out as often as possible.

Offensive Lineman
Charles English Jr Charles English Jr 6’4″ | 280 lbs | OL William Penn Charter | 2024 State PA . has had a spectacular offseason, yet no program has pulled the trigger yet. Not a time to panic, far from that. I’ll speak in terms of ranking, as I have written numerous pieces on the young man in the past month or two. Over 20 linemen have received FBS offers to this point, so It’s tough to rank English, a kid who I think is worthy, above others who’ve had their recruitment solidified. A similar rank is expected, yet had he not wowed me and others in the field this offseason, he more than likely would have dropped. Now, English will likely stay hovering around the top 150-175. Still a high D1 grade. We’ll see what happens moving forward.

Adon Gross Adon Gross 6’3″ | 275 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2024 State PA , now self-listed at 6’4, 280, makes the cut alongside Penn Charter rival Charles English. Adon Gross Adon Gross 6’3″ | 275 lbs | OL The Haverford School | 2024 State PA is still unoffered, yet I have a feeling he’ll earn what he deserves this coming season. It wouldn’t surprise me if he remains unoffered into the season or even after. One things is for sure, he’s going to have plenty of eyes on him during every game this coming Fall. FCS schools recruiting the Inter-Ac have to have him on radar, would be a disservice if they do not.
Chris Poulson
Chris Poulson
Here’s the first new name on the list. Even though Central Bucks East’s Chris Poulson is still unoffered, his placing on this list should be a great indicator of where I expect to rank him this July. 6’5, a real 300+ pound frame, the soon-to-be-senior prospect is hitting the road all June and July, making sure the right eyes see him work. He’ll be at Columbia tomorrow, with Yale and Harvard coming weeks after. Love that he’s getting after it this Summer. I’m excited to see here back from coaches that I know at these camps. I’m also a regular at CBE games, especially when Keller and Shine were present.
Another unranked prospect, not sure how I missed on him considering how much of a fan I am of many at Manheim Township. Someone must be keeping Hayden Johnson Hayden Johnson 6’1″ | 195 lbs | QB Manheim Township | 2024 State PA upright, that being 6’5, 290-pound tackle/DL prospect Charles Breidenstein. Awesome measurables for a kid this big. 22″ vert, 5.4 40, nearly 300 pounds too. My guy Pat Weider plugged his name to me on multiple occasions, glad I could finally hop on the bandwagon.
One of my favorite prospects, IDL or IOL, you name it. Justin Kutcher Justin Kutcher 6’1″ | 265 lbs | OL Danville | 2024 State PA is a winner and a worker, the type of young man coaches would want on roster. Kutcher hasn’t been active on Twitter for some time, yet I know he’s still putting in work for Danville. 6’1, 265 pounds, easily one of the better interior prospects left unoffered at this point. A frequent camper of ours, I’m in his corner heavily and have no problem stamping the kid. Excited to see how far he’s come along after I attend Danville games this Fall.
