STATS: 13-20 | 201 Yards | 4 Touchdowns | 21 Carries | 326 Yards | 5 Touchdowns | 10 Tackles rnWe do these lists alphabetically, but you have to tip your cap to Rejoice Christian sophomore Cale Marley Cale Marley 5’9″ | 170 lbs | ATH Rejoice Christian | 2025 State OK for having the best statistical performance of week ten. Marley is still filling in for senior Chance Wilson Chance Wilson 6’3″ | 185 lbs | QB Rejoice Christian | 2023 State OK at quarterback and he led an offense that could not be stopped in their win over Pawhuska. He threw for just over 200 yards and four touchdowns. He also added over 300 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. Then he turned around and racked up ten tackles on defense. Marley is one of the more versatile athletes in the state’s 2025 class. And while Rejoice expects Wilson to return in the playoffs, Marley has kept this offensive machine moving in the right direction.
Highlights
STATS: 9 Catches | 193 Yards | 4 Touchdowns | 80 Yard KR Touchdown rnMoore found themselves in a shootout in week ten and came up just short against Broken Arrow. But that didn’t stop sophomore CJ Simon CJ Simon 6’0″ | 160 lbs | WR Moore | 2025 State OK from going off in the final game of Moore’s season. Just like Marley at Rejoice Christian, Simon has already established himself as one of the top 2025 prospects in the state. In the week ten game, Simon would finish with nearly 200 yards receiving and four touchdowns. He also returned a kick 80 yards for a fifth touchdown in the game. He has been lights out all season and put up some really impressive numbers. Last year was a small breakout season for Simon but what we’ve seen from this year has made him a star in 6A-1.
Highlights
STATS: 25-41 | 533 Yards | 8 Touchdowns | 18 Tackles rnAnother team that came up just short in week ten after a shootout was Noble and the Bears find themselves on the outside looking in on the playoffs because of it. In that shootout, senior quarterback Colin Fisher Colin Fisher 6’3″ | 200 lbs | QB Noble | 2023 State OK went out firing with well over 500 yards passing and eight touchdowns in the win. He also turned around and finished with 18 tackles on the defensive side of the ball. Most of Fisher’s production went to fellow senior Brandon Harper Brandon Harper 5’10” | 165 lbs | WR Noble | 2023 State OK , who has been a top performer multiple times this season. But this week, we’re giving the edge to Fisher. It might be the last football game he ever plays as he’s headed to Arkansas to play baseball. He’s one of the best 2023 quarterbacks in the state.
STATS: 20 Carries | 252 Yards | 4 Touchdowns rnIn Hilldale’s regular season finale, they took down Fort Gibson in the annual rivalry game. Senior running back Eric Virgil Eric Virgil 5’10” | 175 lbs | RB Hilldale | 2023 State OK once again could not be stopped as the Hornets rolled to the win. He finished with over 250 yards and four touchdowns on 20 carries. The Hornets did all they could to capture the district championship but came up just short. They had to sit around and wait for the outcome of Ada-Broken Bow on Saturday. If Broken Bow had won, Hilldale would have captured the district title. But Ada pulled off the win. Hilldale will still host a first round playoff game and they have a ton of momentum going and Virgil will be one of the top running backs in the 4A playoffs.
STATS: 7-10 | 130 Yards | 1 Touchdown | 175 Rushing Yards | 2 Touchdowns rnJenks made some history this week on Thursday night with their 38-35 win over Bixby, snapping Bixby’s 58-game winning streak. That grabbed the headlines and there’s no doubt about the fact that it was a massive storyline. But a big reason why Jenks won was because of their senior quarterback Ike Owens Ike Owens 6’2″ | QB Jenks | 2023 State OK . He played the game of his career in the win over the Spartans. He finished with 130 yards and a touchdown passing, making big play after big play. Then he also added 175 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground. The Jenks running game could not be contained Thursday night. Owens and the Trojans are starting to peak at the exact right time.
STATS: 14 Catches | 217 Yards | 4 Touchdowns rnUnion finished up the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record. After Jenks stunned Bixby, the Redhawks became the only unbeaten team in Class 6A-1. In their regular season finale, the passing game was clicking on all cylinders. Junior wide receiver Jino Boyd Jino Boyd 6’0″ | WR Union | 2024 State OK found himself open time after time as he torched the Edmond North defense. Boyd would finish with well over 200 yards receiving and four touchdowns on 14 catches. Boyd is one of Union’s more underrated playmakers and he’s playing some of his best football right now. Union beat up on Edmond North in week ten and they come into the playoffs as the team to beat in Class 6A-1.
STATS: 26 Carries | 148 Yards | 5 Touchdowns rnFor the second straight season, Victory Christian captured the district championship in a head to head showdown in week ten. That’s what happened as Victory took down Kiefer on the road. Leading the way once again for the Conquerors was senior running back Judah Byrams Judah Byrams 5’8″ | RB Victory Christian | 2023 State OK . We wrote about the dynamic Victory running back last week, because he was a top performer once again. And we wrote about how he’s playing some of his best football right now. Byrams and the Conquerors are also peaking at the right time with the playoffs right around the corner. If Byrams continues playing like what we’ve seen in the last month, Victory could make plenty of noise in 2A.
STATS: 26 Carries | 211 Yards | 4 Touchdowns rnChoctaw locked up the district championship in week ten and the Yellowjackets go into the 6A-2 playoffs as one of the top contenders to capture the state championship. In their week ten win over Ponca City, senior running back La’Trell Ray La’Trell Ray 5’9″ | 165 lbs | RB Choctaw | 2023 State OK showed that he’s not just an elusive running back that works best in space. He had a bit of a workhorse performance in the win as he would run for more than 200 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries. The Yellowjackets have one of the more efficient offenses in 6A-2 and that’s a big reason why they have to be considered a top contender with the playoffs beginning. Ray is one of the best playmakers in that playoff.
STATS: 7 Carries | 114 Yards | 2 Touchdowns | 3 Catches | 91 Yards | 2 Touchdowns rnCushing comes into the Class 4A playoffs as the top-ranked team and the team to beat behind an offense that is one of the absolute best in the state, regardless of class. And one of the more underrated parts of that offense has been senior running back Noah Jones Noah Jones 5’9″ | 175 lbs | RB Cushing | 2023 State OK . A lot of attention goes to the quarterback Blaze Berlowitz Blaze Berlowitz 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Cushing | 2023 State OK and wide receiver Camden Crooks Camden Crooks 6’0″ | 190 lbs | WR Cushing | 2023 State OK but Jones has had plenty of performances that should be recognized. Another one came in the regular season finale as he would go for over 100 yards and two touchdowns on the ground and nearly 100 yards and two touchdowns receiving. And he only touched the ball ten times. He’s the X-Factor of this Cushing offense.
STATS: 12 Catches | 226 Yards | 4 Touchdowns rnWe’ve written about Enid senior wide receiver Tykie Andrews Tykie Andrews 6’0″ | WR Enid | 2023 State OK quite a bit this season and there’s a good reason for that. He’s gone off in more games than he hasn’t. He’s been arguably the best wide receiver in 6A-1 this season and the numbers back that up. In their final game of the regular season, Andrews would go off again. He would finish with well over 200 yards and four touchdowns receiving on 12 catches. Andrews and the Plainsmen have made it back to the playoffs and they’ll go on the road to face Edmond Memorial in the marquee game of the first round in 6A-1. If Andrews goes off again and Enid advances, Andrews will have a shot to get 20 touchdowns on the season.
