And, of course, you can’t forget about the fans; they show up and show out every week, packing stadiums that look more like lower-level division one stadiums.
Well, today, I’m out in the sooner state looking at which prospects on the offensive side are making an immediate impact as freshmen. These guys have already begun to impress on tape and should be some intriguing prospects over the next three seasons. Make sure to keep a watchful eye on them. With that being said, here’s who you need to know!
QB: Titan Hix Titan Hix 6'3" | 210 lbs | QB Locust Grove | 2026 State OK , 6’4″ 210, Hennessey
- Has ideal size for the position.
- Willing to stand in the pocket and deliver a dart with a free rusher coming right at him.
- Calm & composed, a trait not often seen from a young quarterback.
WR: Zaylun Matlock, 5’7″ 145, McLoud
- A speedy prospect that can get on a corner’s toes in an instant.
- Despite having a smaller frame, Matlock has a pretty big catch radius.
- Cuts are smooth with no wasted steps.
RB: KD Jones KD Jones 6'0" | 170 lbs | ATH Jenks | 2026 State OK , 5’11” 160, Broken Arrow
- Elite stop and start.
- Shows plenty of strength through contact.
- Can accelerate at the drop of a hat if he spots a seem.
OL: Ryley Kester Ryley Kester 6'4" | 265 lbs | OL Charles Page | 2026 State OK , 6’4″ 265, Charles Page
- Plays flat-out nasty through the whistle.
- Hands are loaded and have some serious pop to go with it.
- Flexible, with good bend at the knees and ankles.
QB: Brock Boyles Brock Boyles 6'1" | 195 lbs | QB Ada | 2026 State OK , 5’11” 160, Ada
- Terrific timing as a pure dropback passer.
- Already a solid arm talent whose strength is only going to improve over the next few seasons.
- Intermediate throws are strikes right on the breastplate.
ATH: Macklynn Dixon, 5’7″ 145, Idabel
- An explosive prospect with impressive change of direction.
- A natural at tracking the deep ball downfield.
- Can line up as a wildcat quarterback, pull a zone read, and create chunk plays.
ATH: Cole Robbins Cole Robbins 5'11" | 190 lbs | ATH Durant | 2026 State OK , 5’11” 170, Durant
- Jump cut looks like they’re second nature to him.
- Extremely effective as a goal-line runner.
- Has experience at quarterback & showed plenty of arm and precise accuracy as a third-level thrower.
QB: Conner Quintero Conner Quintero 6'0" | 180 lbs | QB Oklahoma | 2026 State OK , 6′ 170, Stillwater
- Throws well on the move, squaring his shoulders to his target.
- Alters his arm slot to avoid batted-down passes at the line.
- Quick game is effortless and looks beyond easy to him.
